DISCUSSION 2
Life as a Parent of Children with FASD
Students’ behavior is a very significant thing to both the teachers and the parents. In a
case where the student is misbehaving, the teachers and parents should jointly discuss and
consider the best help for the student (Michaud, 2015). There are also a number of institutional
policies that have been put in place to curb issues of indiscipline among students. In this case, I
think that the teacher should not tell the parent who her children have been leaving with from
school. The teacher should only mention that there is an unwanted behavior in that the student is
leaving early from school and that she doesn’t return for classes.as a parent with a child with

understand them and be in a position to correct the child. Being the other parent however, I
would be not that pressing to know who my kid has been leaving with but at the same time I
would ask. From the teacher’s side however, I wouldn’t tell the two about each other since the
administration does not comply with such rules and the policy about the same is clear.
There is a lot of information that I would need to know about this situation. As the
teacher, I would want to know about the whole situation and what is it that the two students

parents in this and if the two students have talked to their parents about and what they think
about such behavior (Reid & Moritz, 2019). From the parents’ side however, I would be very
interested to know more information especially about how this has been going on for. I would
also want to know the kind of behavior that the other kid has in order to see and evaluate the kind
influence they might have in my kid. On the same note, I will also be willing to get the specific
explanations on where they go and what they do and if the teachers know for how long this has
