MAIN BODY Issues with visually impaired people Communication issue This is the major issue which people with visual disability faces. In students during the classroom inclusion faces difficulty to concentrate on the teaching of tutors and this eventually lowers their self confidence (Yekta and et.al.,2017). Reading This is the most important issue which is being faced by people suffering from visual impairment. In the classroom, students with visual impairment tend to feel isolated from other studentsandthiseventuallyreducestheirparticipationinschoolactivities(Yektaand et.al.,2017). Learning ability It has been reported that the learning ability in visually impaired people generally decreases as the nerves from eyes to brains get affected. This often leads the students in classroom to feel lonely and thus due to poor learning they are being mocked by other students in classroom (Datta and Talukdar, 2016). Impact on accessing educational learning programs These issues mainly will affect the ability of students to access different educational programs. Due to lack of proper vision, it will be difficult for these students to properly analyze the different learning topics. For example- in case of online educational programs, visually impaired students will face difficulty in relating the topic to images and pictures and thus will only have to depend on sound of the tutor (Chin and et.al.,2018). Role of teachers The role of tutor in enhancing learning ability of these visually impaired students is highly imperative. Firstly, tutor can encourage these students to participate more and more in various school activities in order to make them feel part of community. Besides this, tutor can provide weekly training sessions to these students in order to make their learning more effective (Datta and Talukdar, 2016).
