In relation to sustainability matters, Tacoma International Airport has established a Seattle area
to enhance sustainability come 2035 through the sustainable airport mater plan (SAMP) (Port of
Seattle, 2019). The objectives of the SAMP plan is to meet a passenger demand of approximately
56 million by 2027, meet the cargo demand, adhere to the FAA airfield standards and improve its
operation efficiency. The corporate social responsibility of Tacoma International Airport is
providing the community it works in to take part in studies related to environmental concerns to
ensure environmental justice, and environmental health. The Port of Seattle has various platform
through which it circulates its information like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. For instance,
the airline majorly use Facebook in suggesting the type of travel for its customers. The mission
of Port Seattle is to stimulate economic development through creating jobs. The vision of the
port Seattle is to create more job opportunities to at least 300,000 jobs in the region and
minimize environmental footprint (Port of Seattle, 2018). The social responsibility of Seattle is
to invest in programs that will help to reduce carbon emission to protect the natural resources in
attempt to tame climate change and global warming.
