Now a day business of Pub is growing day by daybecause most of the population like to spend their time for enjoyment inproper manner. Pub refers to a place where an individual can get alcoholicdrinks which is sold on legal basis. Along with this they also offer variety ofsnacks, foods, soft drinks, music and many more. In traditional time pubsonly offer beer and cider but according to change in time innovation in pub'soffering also get increased in effective manner which attract customers.Hand and Heart cafe is incorporated in year 1866 in United Kingdom thatoffer variety of drinks on legal basis. The respective company planning toexpand its business in other location in order to grow as well as developbusiness in effective manner. Along with this it will also help Hand and Heartcafe to expand its profitability ratio, market shares and customers base inproper manner. Through this research project manager able to understand orknow more about industry of pub and various challenges face by pubbusiness while developing its business in national or international market.The major purpose of conducting this research is to identify scope of growthas well as profitability in order to developing new pub. For this researchadopt various secondary method such as books, journals, newspapers andmany more which help them in collecting data as well as information which isappropriate for research. Through this project manager analysis thatrespective pub can open its business. This will also help them in gainingprofitability and market shares.More over they also understand factorswhich determine growth as well as profitability in growing and developing anew pub business. In traditional times, mainly beer and cider were offered in pub to itscustomers, but with the changing times there are numerouschanges(innovations) which are being followed by pub industry in order tomaximise its profits andexpand its business successfully. The originalconcept of this businessbasically belongs core part of British, New Zealand,South African, Australian, Irish and Breton. The culture of these countrieswere much frank that directly accepts hard drinks in more convenientmanner. The present research is based on Hand and Heart cafe, a UK basedpub which offers different types of drinks within its hospitality premises. Thecompany was incorporated in the year 1866. The owner of the companyhave realised that growth and profits of pub business is increasing day byday (Anitha, 2014). With this thought, its owner have planned to develop itpub business in surrounding area by expanding their.1.2 Background of researchBackground of research & CompanyPub houses are considered as the fastest growing business inhospitality sector. It can be said that no other sector is growing this muchrapidly with in the past analysed years. Hospitality industry is consist of lotsof innovation which influences interest of users as well companies belongingto this stream or planning to enter into the same for the purpose of makingtheirbusiness successful (Bosworthand et. al., 2016). Hand and heart is local pub located in United Kingdom which wasdeveloped by converting Georgian house into a cave decorated pub. Theinterior of this pub was inspired with the theme of cave. Along with this,utensils which were used in pub are also in shape of cave ceiling. From itsincorporation in 1866 till 2004, the Pub business have gone through manychanges and innovation but finally in the year of 2004, the business wasclosed due continuous based losses. Later in 2008, the company was boughtby an old restaurateur named as Dawn Underdown who hold years ofexperience in the same field. The pub was further renovated by the family ofnew owner. After renovation, Dawn and his family have converted this placeinto decorative dining room with original wood fire. The company is currentlyoffering famous real ciders and ales to its customers(Bresler and Stake,2017). It also offers wines, variety of whiskey and other drinks thatinfluences interest of customers towards pub. Hand and Heart also providesvarious other facilities like food, soothing ,music with piano, garden roomsetc. The mentioned restaurant has won various CAMRA awards and becameone among the popular pub in United Kingdom which offers home cookedfood to its guest with fine variety of drinks. Along with this, Hand and Heartalso became favourite place for tourist and localise people where they canenjoy variety of beer with their friends.1.3 Rationale and Significance of researchThe main purpose of conducting this research is to analyse actualscope of pub business in order to identify its growth and profitability level.With reference to business scenario, it has been analysed that the main aidof this research is to restore convenient level of information for differentbusiness person related to the same field or for the entrepreneurs who areplanning to enter into this stream in order start their career.
