ABSTRACT
Maintaining health and safety within any organization is highly essential to keeping
hygiene working environment as well as enhancing satisfaction level of customers. Both CSR
and health and safety policies effects several business practices as well as key stakeholders of
company. There are various functions which are required to be managed properly such as fire
safety, risk assessments, first aid, accidental reporting, work equipment’s, hazardous substances,
manual handling and other workplace issues. In this regards, the present is based on the
Metropolitan K9 Services LTD (MK9) which works closely in partnership and deliver quality
security services to all its customers through a team of highly trained personnel. Further, effect of
health and safety policies of Metropolitan K9 Services LTD and the key stakeholders is being
determined in this study. Safety and health policies are specific to each individual organization as
it is totally based on the hazards and risks present in the system. For the same, it is highly
essential for organization to follow systematic hazard identification and risk assessment. There
are various health and safety policies which clearly show the commitment that safety and health
legislation will be complied. Moreover, the company is generating global brand equity through
corporate social responsibility to key stakeholders.
Further, this present study clearly shows the effect of health and safety policies of
Metropolitan K9 Services LTD and the key stakeholders. In addition to this, by the way of
framing most suitable questions in the questionnaire survey appropriate information regarding
CSR and health and social policies of Metropolitan K9 Services LTD as well it impact on
stakeholders can be identified. For this, 10 managers of company have been selected. On the
basis of this survey analysis and appropriate findings it has been concluded that CSR and health
and safety policies affects several business practices as well as key stakeholders of company.
With the help of this, organization can identify that how safety will be managed within an
organization. Metropolitan K9 Services LTD (MK9) is able to establish a secure and friendly
environment. By the way of following health and safety policies they are able to keep hygiene
working environment as well as enhance satisfaction level of customers.

Introduction
In today’s highly globalized world and increasing competition it is becoming their first
responsibility to keep their stakeholders satisfied. They play a most important role in maintaining
smooth business practices and enhancing growth of company (Noonan, 2010). For the same,
majority of firms are incorporating several CSR activities within their business strategies. On the
basis of this, they can reach out to more number of customers and keeps them satisfied.
However, focusing on health and safety policies as well as maintaining appropriate legislations
helps company in keeping proper business environment. Both CSR and health and safety policies
effects several business practices as well as key stakeholders of company. According to Cai, Jo
and Pan (2012) health and safety policies can be define as and statement which details how
safety will be managed within an organization. It also represents the organization’s commitment
towards it and also gives appropriate detailing about where responsibilities are allocated. There
are various functions which are required to be managed properly such as fire safety, risk
assessments, first aid, accidental reporting, work equipment’s, hazardous substances, manual
handling and other workplace issues (Adewuyi and Olowookere, 2010). All of these issues can
be easily handled by the way of focusing on appropriate policy development and implementation
as well.
In this concern, the present study is based on the Metropolitan K9 Services LTD (MK9)
Company which is situated in the heart of London. They want to be a market leader within the
retail and commercial sector as well. This company is one of the premier leading independent
providers of security services. MK9 works closely in partnership and deliver quality security
services to all its customers through a team of highly trained personnel. All of them work as a
part of team in order to establish a secure and friendly environment. The management team of
metropolitan mainly focuses on central monitoring system on the basis of which communication
will flow appropriately.

The present study gives brief description and appropriate understanding about the various
policies of company such as health and safety as well as other CSR policies. Here, researcher can
carry out proper research to conduct and appropriate analysis over the satisfaction level of
stakeholders of MK9. Further, effect of health and safety policies of Metropolitan K9 Services
LTD and the key stakeholders is being determined in this study.

Rationale of study
At the time of conducting any research it is essential to carry out appropriate information
over the specific issues related to the present subject matter. Effective policy development is
becoming one of the common concerns of any organization. However, following better health
and safety policies helps company in keeping workers satisfied and maintaining healthy working
environment as well. One of the major issues faced by Metropolitan K9 Services LTD is interest
conflict. It presents different areas of interests of various stakeholders. Shareholders do not need
health and safety but company usually considers this as an important factor for their workers. It
creates a level of conflict due to which satisfaction level of stakeholders decrease.
In this present study, another major research issue regarded as keeping all the
stakeholders satisfied and maintaining appropriate corporate brand image globally. It is
becoming major issue for all the organization these days due to the increasing and rapid growth
of competition. Here, this study presents the information regarding the various effective
developments of policies such as CSR as well as health and safety. There are several legislation
requires by the employer to protect the health and safety of their employees in the workplace.
However, it is becoming major concerns of every organization and also regarded as a major issue
to develop effective policies for all their workers.
Dissertation structure
At the time of conducting any research it is highly essential for researcher to go through
the sequential progress of the different chapters. In this thesis, all chapters are interconnected
with each other and proceed with the completion of previous chapters. The structure of research
is as follows:
Chapter 1: Introduction this is regarded as an initial chapters of any research in which
researcher can find an overview of the research topic. This chapter consists of research aim and
objectives on the basis of which whole study takes place. Further, it also covers a brief synopsis
of the rationale of the study as well as its significance.
Chapter 2: Literature Review this is next chapter of the study takes place after framing
proper objectives of the study. Here, information is being presented by the past studies done of
the similar topics as well work done by other researchers on this subject matter. Further, several
academic journals, books and online reference materials have been reviewed in order to compile
