CHAPTER 2- DETAILED LITERATURE REVIEW
According to Namada (2018), a global business could be determined by different components
like competitive factors, intercultural effectiveness, and technical advancement. It is stated
that there are two factors that might influence the atmosphere of the global business named
external and internal atmosphere. Political, social, economic, technical, and economic factor
that could be an external factor as it could influence the overall outcome of the study. Apart
from this, it is evaluated that marketing intermediaries, suppliers, customers, and competitors
are determined as the internal factors that could also influence the performance of the firm
(Lawrence and Weber, 2014).
In support of this, Cavusgil et al. (2014) examined that if an organization desire to launch
their products and services at the international level then they could be need of gaining the
awareness of goods and services. The brand awareness is imperative for business due to get a
reliable outcome. For launching the new product in the marketplace brand awareness in very
imperative for the firm. Bendell (2017) stated that unacceptable that the international market
could be the biggest platform for operating the business and getting competitive benefits.
On the other side, Thompson Strickland and Gamble (2015) examined that brand awareness
could easily enhance the sustainability of the firm in the specified marketplace. In the
international market business atmosphere, the developing brand image could be simply
accomplished by considering the decision making the process. Rugman and Verbeke,
(2017) stated that trade taxes could directly affect the organizational performance of the
organization. The taxes of tax could directly affect the foreign exchange market. The
restriction on the important procedure could influence the overall exchange rate in both
favorable and unfavorable way. In addition, it is stated that trade tax could play an imperative
role in influencing the overall business (Lazzarini, 2015).

issues at the working place that could negatively impact on the overall outcome of the study.
It is also stated that the different language, religious, various culture in the international
market and changing requisites become a major concern for the firm. It is evaluated that the
global market could enchase the expectation of the consumers, which will decline the
opportunity to get a reliable outcome. It is stated that emotional values from the perspective
of customers could create a challenge for the firm at the international market (Laszlo and
Cescau, 2017).
In support of this, Kuratko Hornsby and Hayton (2015) illustrated that after the launching of
new product in the global market, the organization needs to use trade laws for introducing in
the new market. With respect to declining the competitiveness of the market, the organization
will use the competitive regulations for managing the business. It is stated that strict customer
relationship management regulation standard policy could affect business practices. It is also
stated that the rate of taxation fluctuates rapidly, which could impact on the financial
situation of the firm. It is also stated that values liabilities, as well as assets, could directly
impact the performance of the business. In addition, it is evaluated that competitiveness could
decline the revenue of the firm (Cole, 2015).
Summary
It can be summarized that the literature review is effective for collecting theoretical
information towards the research matter. In this study, the literature review used to support
findings that are effective for increasing the reliability of the study outcome. Apart from this,
the primary research method leads to the investigator to answer the research question and
make a favorable decision in favor of the research matter.

CHAPTER 3- METHODOLOGY
Research Onion Framework
In the research methodology section, research scholar would use the research onion
framework which considers several tools such as research method, strategies, and research
approach. It would support the researcher to accumulate feasible data for achieving the aims
and objectives of the research. Research onion framework would facilitate the investigator to
gain depth knowledge towards research tools and techniques (Mangan, Lalwani, and Lalwani,
2016). This framework is created by Saunders to get relevant information about research
tools.
Figure 1: Research Onion Framework
(Source: Omotayo and Kulatunga, 2015).
Research onion framework would be useful as it would assist the investigator to choose the
suitable method for conducting the research study in an appropriate way. As per this
framework, the researcher would perform the research in a systematic manner that is
described below:
Research Philosophy
Research philosophy is an imperative facet in the research methodology section as it supports
the researcher to gather, evaluate and utilize the gathered data in current research concern.

DISSERTATION 11
Relevant ideas and opinion related to research matter are executed in the investigation by
using research philosophy appropriately (Epstein, 2018). Research philosophy consists of two
types which are positivism philosophy and interpretivism philosophy. In this research study,
interpretivism research philosophy would be practice by research scholar due to the
subjective nature of research concern. This philosophy would lead the research scholar to
evaluate and get depth knowledge of the research concern. Along with this, research
philosophy would also assist the researcher to enhance the quality of investigation (Cavusgil,
and Knight, 2015).
Research Approach
In the research methodology, the research approach is a vital aspect as it depicts the main
reason to select the targeted research procedure. Two types of research approach could are
used in the research study that is deductive research approach and inductive research
approach. Under the deductive research approach, the researcher has made a hypothesis and
accept or reject the collected data as per the hypothesis (Carroll and Buchholtz,
2014). Whereas, the inductive approach is practiced by the researcher to adequately analyze
the accumulated data and also aids the researcher to enhance the non-numerical knowledge
related to the research concern. This study has considered the inductive approach as
compared to the deductive approach for conducting the research in a systematic manner and
obtain reliable information about the research matter. The deductive approach could be
complicated as compared to the inductive approach hence this method has not considered.
The inductive approach method could facilitate to get the information from different sources
like articles, books, online and offline sources. It could supportive of increasing the reliability
of the research outcome (Avram, 2014).

DISSERTATION 12
Research strategy
The research strategy is leading to the participants for collecting reliable information towards
the research matter. There are certain methods which are consistent of research strategies like
a case study, survey through questionnaire, content analysis method, and literature review
method. In this, the researcher has used the survey through questionnaire method, which
leads to collect direct responses of the participants towards the research issue. It could also
increase the reliability of the research outcome. This method is more suitable as compared to
another method (Audretsch, Lehmann, and Wright, 2014). Moreover, the literature review
method is practiced by the investigator for getting the feasible content towards the research
matter. It could also be effective in the attainment of the research task. In addition, it is also
found that the survey through the questionnaire is collected by face by face to interaction. It
could also lead to meet the aim and objectives of the research matter effectively (Saeidi, et
al., 2015).
Research design
The research design is effective for collecting the information towards the research matter.
The research design could consider two methods like qualitative, quantitative, and mixed
method. For conducting this study, the researcher has practiced mixed research design as it
allows to the investigator for conducting the theoretical and numerical information about the
research matter (Meyer and Peng, 2016). This method is effective for conducting this study in
a systematic manner. The qualitative method only allows getting the non-measurable
information while the quantitative method facilitates to get statistical information. Both
methods could be mandated to get limited information that would directly effect on the
overall performance of the research outcome. In this study, the mixed method has been
considered due to obtaining benefits of both methods qualitative as well as quantitative
method (Kennedy, Welch, and Monshipouri, 2017).

DISSERTATION 13
Data collection method
The data collection method is effective for collecting the information towards the research
matter. There are two kinds of methods that are considered by the investigators named
primary and secondary data collection method. In this study, the primary and secondary
method has been practiced due to getting favorable information with respect to the research
dilemma (Aharoni, 2014). The primary data is collected by entailing different methods like
survey through questionnaire method. It increases the reliability of the research outcome. The
secondary data will be collected by considering different sources like articles, books,
journals, company websites, and articles. It could be effective in the attainment of the
organizational task.
Data analysis
The data analysis method is effective for evaluating the collected information and meets the
research issue. This study considers the statistical data analysis method and literature review
method to collect the data (Marquis and Raynard, 2015). The statistical tool is considered to
numerical data by considering the Ms-Excel software method, which could increase the
reliability and validity of the research outcome. The literature review method will lead to
evaluate conceptual information and reach a reliable conclusion (Hertwich, et al., 2015).
Sampling method
Sampling method could consider two kinds of method like probability and non-probability
sampling method (Piekkari, Welch, and Welch, 2014). This research considers the probability
sampling method to select the sample size for conducting this study. This method enables to
the investigator to give the equal chance to all research candidate to be a part of the study and
share their opinion and views towards the research matter (Bhamra and Lofthouse,
2016). This method is simple as compared to the non-probability sampling method. The non-
probability sampling method could create the biases in the study as it facilitates to select the
