The title of this research is to ‘study on the impact of leadership style on employee performance:
A case study of Tesco, UK’.
Aim and scope:
The aim of this investigation is to address impact of leadership style of performance of
employees in Tesco, UK. Leadership is defined as the art of persuading individual so that, they
would make efforts for willingly with respect to the attainment of objectives. In Tesco,
employees are criticized for different factors such as poor performance, inadequate
accountability, inefficiency, lack of flexibility, as well as, red tape in organisation. In Tesco,
leadership is associated with hierarchical relationship (Akhtar, et. al., 2016).
This investigation emphasizes on addressing the impact of different leadership styles like
democratic, autocratic as well as, laissez-faire and their impact on performance of employees
within company. After completion of this investigation, readers would gain their understanding
regarding which leadership style could be suitable for employees with respect to providing them
higher extent of work satisfaction and the accomplishment of their career. It is also effective for
Tesco to address the great leaders that can enhance the performance of employees as well as, can
lead the company to get success (Akhtar, and Khan, 2015).
