Abstract
Cloud computing has gradually become a vital need of a business and therefore, the adoption of
cloud has increased over the years. The research has been conducted for addressing the different
process in which the effectiveness of cloud can be improved. In understanding the way in which
the effectiveness of cloud adoption can be addressed, the main concepts of cloud such as public,
private and hybrid cloud are addressed in this dissertation. The study further focuses on the
infrastructural transformation in cloud and the most effective approach of infrastructural
transformation. The study further examines the main security aspect of cloud implementation
and further recommends strategies that can address the issues in cloud. The study concludes with
the recommendation of strategies that can help in implementation of cloud. The researcher has
made use of primary data long with secondary data to find answers to the identified objectives of
the research and the questions.

Chapter 1: Introduction
1.1. Research Background
The undertaken study is based on analysis of the different factors that has the capability
of enhancing the effectiveness to cloud adoption. The research mainly aims in developing a set
of recommendations that ascertains effective and beneficial cloud adoption. Cloud adoption has
become an integral part of a business as it aims in reduction of hardware usage, which in return
provides a positive impact on different business organization. Cloud adoption and the
efficiencies offered by cloud computing increases the productivity of the organization by 40%
and further increases the flexibility by 47%. The study will be evaluating the concepts and the
platform of cloud adoption. The researcher aims in explaining the different cloud technologies,
which are the public cloud, private cloud and the hybrid cloud (Oliveira, Thomas and Espadanal
2014). On basis of the extensive literature search and analysis of the data, the public cloud
platform, certain recommendations are made that can help in better adoption of the cloud. The
objectives along with the aims of the study are identified to address the problems and identify the
rationale of the research.
1.2. Problem Statement
Increase in competition among different business organizations needs effective use of
technology. One of the most effective technologies include the use of cloud computing. It is
observed that the use of cloud computing can significantly increase the efficiency of an
organization. There are many benefits of adopting cloud and one of such benefits is to store the
vital information quite effectively in a secure platform (Gangwar, Date and Ramaswamy 2015).
However, there are questions regarding the security of the data and critical information saved in
