INTRODUCTIONIn UK, the children who live outside their country of origin seek asylum .From theirparentand from their family these children are being separated and have no one to look afterthem. Around 3175 separated children claimed asylum in the year 2016.As the children were noloner safe in their own country so they leave their own country of origin.In the category ofvulnerable group the unaccompanied asylum seeking children particular comes . In the UK, therehas been rise in the number of unaccompanied asylum seeking and refugee children. For thosewho are aged under 16 fostering is a widely used care arrangements. (Thommessen, Corcoranand Todd, 2017).BACKGROUNDIn EU, number of unaccompanied and separated children claiming were 160,000 in theyear 2015 and 2016. It is the moral responsibility of government to assist those who are sufferingas a result of world conflict. In the UK, there are safe and legal routes by which people includingchildren can be resettled who are in need of protection. So, the people who are making their lifea risk by making dangerous journeys to Europe need not be avoided (The experiences ofunaccompanied asylum-seeking children in and leaving the out-of-home care system in the UK,2017). The gateway and Mandate scheme as well as other scheme are included by which around60 % of people resettled with the children. And by making use of schemes such as Vulnerablechildren's resettlements schemes about 23,000 people will be resettled by the year 2020.. Localauthorities are being put at risk of being overwhelmed due to rapid increase in number ofunavoidable children coming in the UK.RATIONALEIn the UK, number of children who are shifting to asylum have been increased fromprevious years. So, this review will help to find out the experiences and needs of unaccompaniedasylum seeking children in either foster care or leaving the care system.1
