Title - what influencing factors impact on the judgment and decisions of Advanced pharmacist
practitioners (with different grades of experience) in whether or not to start hypertension
treatment in elderly frail patients over 80 years
Research methodology
In order to conduct a study it is necessary to gather relevant and precise data so that
useful info is obtained. For that it is necessary to select a specific research methodology so that
study is conducted in effective way. Besides that, it gives insight to researcher that what
methods are to be applied in collecting data. also, by interpreting data relevant outcomes are
achieved. so, it becomes easy to conduct study. Similarly, for present dissertation the
methodology is as follows :
Data collection- An important element of research methodology because it is not possible for any
researcher to complete study and making it successful without having appropriate and accurate
data (Wang, and et.al., 2019). There are mainly 2 ways of collecting data such as primary and
secondary. In primary data collection, researcher gather fresh data that have not been used before
and is known as primary data. there are various ways through which data is collected such as
survey, interview, questionnaire, etc. it entirely depends on researcher that what method will be
used. On the other hand, in secondary type of data collection, researcher gathers second and data
that have been published already and may be used before by other scholar for their study. In this
journals, articles, books, etc. are selected and then data is gathered. Therefore, these both
methods will allow be useful in obtaining relevant data regarding factors and its affect on
decision making. Moreover, analysis can be made on basis of secondary data by comparing it
with primary one.
What data will be collected
However, for current study both secondary and primary data will be gathered. Here,
secondary data is collected through case studies. Furthermore, primary data is gathered via
questionnaire. In this descriptive data will be gathered. This is because it will help in analyzing
factors which influence on decision of pharmacist.
Sampling – it is defined as the procedures used in statistical analysis in which a predetermined
number of observations are taken from a larger population. There are certain criteria on basis of
