This report investigates the barriers faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander groups in accessing care and medical services. It discusses the existing opportunities to support the community and highlights the considerations one needs to keep in mind while dealing with them. The report also covers the social, political, and economic issues faced by these communities and provides information on various health and community services available for them. The National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (NACCHO) is discussed as an organization that guides and advises the Australian Government on matters of budget and policies regarding the development of health solutions for the community.
