INTRODUCTION
Diversity refers to understanding each and every individual with differences like racial,
geographic, academic background, socio-economic and many more. This is the one in which
there are different people who need to relocate with geographical location. In this report, there is
discussion about reflection about own perspectives on diversity. This report also includes
different strategies in an organisation where worker utilise to respect need of people with social
and cultural background. There is also discussion about the Torres strait islander people which
includes European settlement impact, loss of culture and land along with importance of law and
Kinship. There is also discussion about workplace strategy for effective communication. There is
also discussion about ways which can encourage involvement of Aboriginal or Torres Strait
islander people in planning and delivery of services along with different programmes that are
offered by workplace (Morales, 2017).
TASK 1
Reflection on perspective on diversity
I think that there is different benefits of diversity in which I can learn different culture
and can meet with different race, gender and different people who have different thinking which
lead to different culture and different experience which are there able to get better learning about
which is due to diversity. This is the one in which there is different opportunity to learn many
things like culture, language which are there used from past time. Sometimes I think that I have
some bias thinking which is regarding diverse people that they should not get more benefits of
different scheme which are there run by government in relation to provide them some help in get
there with better comfort. In this, my thinking may have some limitation which is due to listening
about different people who come from far away due to some specific reason. I have some
specific thinking which I have learned by due to interacting with surrounding people and loving
ones which creates some perception about people who have the diversity from different place to
another (Bonta, 2017). I should take my thinking to another level by collecting information form
reliable sources that can help me to get aware about diversity and its positive aspects. I like to
visit different places and some people need to go other places for longer period of time or for
forever. My thinking is that it is ok but when salespeople diversify them selves to my town or
country then I realise that why they came here. They should go to somewhere else. This is the act
