INTRODUCTIONEquality and diversity are the two words which has great significance in our society.People are divided into different category so it is quite necessary that there should be equality inthem. These terms become more important in institutes like schools because this is the placewhere a lot of students come to study and they are from different backgrounds. They might havedifferent religion, colour, sex and etc. So management of such places should make sure that nostudents should face discrimination on any grounds (Baillie and Matiti, 2013). There should beno baisness and favouritism. This essay will be reflecting various aspects of equality anddiversity. 1.1 Meaning of equality and diversityEquality and diversity are the important features which are related with LearningProgrammes. Equality ensure that all the people will be treated fairly which helps in establishinghealthy working environment.Equality: It implies that all the people in the business organisation should be treatedequally and there should be no discriminations at National Health care. They should not bedifferentiated on the basis of there skills and abilities(Richardson and Monro, 2012)Diversity: It implies that accepting the differences among the individuals and treating thebeliefs, values, cultures and lifestyles of different people equally.In health care organisations It is essential to ensure equality so that there are can easilyavail all the services which are needed by them thus helps in building positive workenvironment.1.2 Benefits of equality and diversityThere are various advantages of establishing equality and diversity at work place aredescribed as:The rules and regulations should be clear to all the employees who are working inLearning Programmes(Ocloo and Matthews, 2016).The negative attitude of workers should be channelled so that they can adopt measures inorder to improve them.Effective training and workshops should be organised for the workers so that they caneasily know how to execute the working in effective ways.1
