Partnership working has always been beneficial for an organization. By the help of this
process an organization could be able to increase the brand prospect and working
environment. If people are working in a business environment with making partners; then
they could easily be able to execute any kind of activities in an efficient and effective
manner. The paper is mainly delivering the importance of working as partner in the case of
health and social care services. In this case senior managers of an elder home want to make a
survey over the benefits of working in partnership. For this reason various issues need to be
highlighted and discussed which could make a positive decision over this particular issue.
Different legislative guidelines and other essential philosophies also have been mentioned in
this paper by which overall understanding of the matter could be done very easily. It has
been observed through analysis that lots of problems could be found in the system if
problems would be raised due to the poor partnership between the care workers and staffs.
For this particular reason respective management of the business must have to focus on
essential elements so that they could be able to run all of the issues in a significant manner.

business process. Each and every care professionals must have to focus on the moral values
and that could play an effective role in the case of work practice. The paper is mainly trying
to highlight how the senior staffs of the mental health organization must have to promote the
partnership working in the working platform. Through this process senior staffs of the
company could be able to maintain the philosophies in the working arena (White and Harris,
2011).

At this present moment most of th e health care organizations have been using partnership
working for the betterment of their organization. In this case mental health organization must
have to focus before initiating the partnership working. Some basic philosophical needs must
have to be fulfilled before initiating this type of activity.
 Empowerment: As decision making is the essential element for the business process,
respective senior staffs must have to empower their other staffs so that they could be
able to invent some new ideas and thoughts. By the help of this process, management
could be able to increase the strength of the staffs and employees in the process. Respect: Respect for other people also need to be maintained in the working process.
By showing respect to other people an organization could be able to increase the
potential growth of the process. In this case staffs of respective mental health
organization must have to show respect to other people. Fairness at workplace: Proper behaviour and ethics need to be maintained by each of
the individual present at the workplace. Equilibrium at the working environment must
need so that each staff could be able to deliver their best quality. For this type of
mental health organization respective management needs to show appropriate
behaviour towards the staffs so that a good working environment could be
maintained. Independence: Each and every single member of the organization needs to be
provided an individual right. None of them must not to be bound in any critical
circumstances. Autonomy: A trust factor also should be there in the workplace where every single
employee could be able to run all of the process in a significant manner.
These are the philosophical justifications which must have to be maintained by every single
employee associated with business process.
1.2 Different partnership relation in the health and social care sector
Relationship among all the entities in the mental health care sector must have to follow the
relational bonding among all the stakeholders. A special boding among all the staffs and
employees must have to be needed so that all the working activities could be executed in an
efficient and organized manner (Pollard, 2011). These relational bondings among all the
stakeholders help the management to deliver quality service to the patients. If all the
members associated with the process share any views and ideas then they could easily be able

to propose a fruitful idea about any matter. MAA (Multi-Area Agreement) that facilitates the
cross boundary partnership and improves the local economic prosperity. Again, Local Area
Agreement (LAA) is actually a 3year agreement that is developed between the central
government and the local area via local strategic partnership. Poor communication and
service can harm the overall process badly. Performance of the organization is highly
depending on the partnership working among the partners or stakeholders. Any kind of
decision needs to be taken with close observation and understanding. By the help of this
process; management of the company could be able to run all the essential activities properly.
The partnership working also allows doing some risk free activities in the organizational
premises. Through this overall partnership work sometime enhances the financial condition
of the respective business process. At this present moment respective senior management of
mental health care home needs to focus on building partnership. This partnership must have

LAA: This is the law of UK government to make contract with local authority for 3 years and
in these three years local community will be liable to solve all kinds of issues by notifying
government. Health issues of the care home also could be fulfilled through this policy.
JWA: Joint working agreement applies on community organization and according to this
principle two local authorities can execute any work by collaboration.
Different theoretical models are also there which could be applied in an organization like care
home.
 Unified: Unified partnership norm states the associated disputes in the partnership
working.
 Co-ordination theory: When two entities are working in a group then appropriate co-
ordination and bonding would be needed for delivering services.
 Coalition: Coalition theory highly focuses on the step by step approach to improve the
condition of service.
 Hybrid: This model or theory is mainly applied to develop future proposition for the
partnership working.
The above mentioned theories are highly applicable on the health care context, but after
having the overall details it could be said for this case study hybrid and coalition theories
would be highly applicable as these need continuous improvement.

Health and Social Care Act 2012 is one of the most relevant legislation focusing on the
structure of the NHS that is present n the application of the structure of the health care
services of the UK. This act points out the multi speciality groups as an essential model of
serving the various health and social care needs of the people in need of care and thus
promote and support the concept of partnership working. The change in the NHS constitution
is one of the most significant steps in promoting the approval for the partnership working and
the advantages of the group level coordination is emphasised in the legislation (Munn-

needs to be focused for safeguarding people in the care homes.

The work practices and different objectives of the different organizations are based on the
specific speciality of the organization and the skills of the workers. However, working in
partnership combines the efforts of organizations with different working policies and
practices. Therefore, a goal-orientated approach is to be taken in every case to ensure the

use of the resources and skills of the different organizations and their workers needs to be
patient cantered to have any hope of combining their specialities for betterment of the care
system. Therefore, the working practices and the differences are based on the policies off the
organizations but the use of a common goal and objective as a common ground is requires
integrating the services offers to any degree. The working practices and the differences can
be mitigates with goal orientated view otherwise it may hamper the operations. After having
