Writing Unit Standards Practical Assessment for SGB Membership

OUTCOME ANALYSIS
At the end of the two days of training, all workers should be in a position to use the
point of sale system efficiently and with ease. They should be able to perform
transaction with ease and access all the system menus without difficulties.
This unit standard will be approve by South African Unit Standards (SAQA) so that
it can be deemed fully functional and appropriate for training purpose.

 Explaining how to record transactions at Point of Sale.
 Explaining processing payment at Point of Sale.

 Use the shortest time in recording transactions.
 Facilitate a high number of transactions in a day.

 This unit standard is organisational and linked to Rampar Trading - institution
offering learning that will enable achievement of this unit standard and the related
Exit Level Outcomes of the Qualification must be accredited by the relevant
Education and Training Quality Assurance (ETQA) body.

 External Moderation of assessment will be overseen by the relevant ETQA at its
discretion.
 The accredited Training Provider will oversee internal moderation of assessment.
 Internal and external moderation should encompass achievement of competence
described in the specific outcomes of the unit standard as well as the integrated
competence described in the purpose of the unit standard.
