Background to the problem
In an organisation all the level of management faces different issues and problems.
Similarly the employees and employer in the organisation also passes through variety of
challenges in workplace. Some of the issues among them are:
Expectation of the lower management: in an organisation like Drive Yello which is a
small organisation the lower management is insecure from the growth perspective as
the expectation are high and results are slow. This lead to decrease the motivation of
the employees in the organisation. The image of the employees is hampered.
Management of cash flow: as a small business Drive Yello faces the issue of cash
flow due to stalling payments and a lot of time out standing bills (Yello Drive, 2018).The
employers in the organisation sometimes lack in the decision making which affects the
cask generation which certainly affects employee growth.
Government regulations and taxes: continuous change in the regulations and taxes
rates greatly affects the focus of the management it is considered as one of the critical
component for small business (Jones, et. al., 2013). Advertising regulations,
environmental regulations, driving rules etc for a service company like Drive Yello are
the most important factors which affects the services of the company and hamper
employer and employee goals altogether.
Privacy of the employees: in the organisation like Drive Yello where the working
hours are not fixed and overtime is a casual affair, the employee’s faces privacy issues
(Kersley, et. al., 2013). Medical check-up and background of the employee is also
checked which results to ultimately disturb the privacy of workers.
Client dependency: To achieve the organisational goals for a small business
dependency on client is general. Drive Yello also faces same issue and a lot of time
the ratio of client dependency increases half of the income provided by a particular
client (Berman, et. al., 2012). This affects the operation and profitability of the
organisation.

Management decision (what is the decision management have to make that research will
assist with? – in question form).
For a successful venture it is necessary that the management of the organisation has
prompt decision making power and maintain organisational behaviour (Jones, et. al.,
2013). It is necessary that the organisation takes decision which will resolve the issue of
employees and motivate the direction of the employee. How the decision making by the
management in the Drive Yello takes place. How the organisational behaviour
affects the outcome of the employee of Drive Yello. It is necessary for Drive Yello to
take immediate actions and planned constructively so that the issues of the employee are
resolved which certainly results to excellent organisational behaviour (Yello Drive, 2018).
Appropriate decision making also affects the client dependency and improves the
hierarchy of the company. What are the centralized and decentralized powers of the
organisation which results to effective growth and progress of the company? For
continuous flow of revenue and rotate cash It is necessary that the concentrate powers of
the organisation are centralized and decentralized powers increase the team efficiency
(Bennett, et. al., 2012).
Research question (from a research perspective what information is required to answer
the management problem?).
The focus of the research is to understand and critically analyse the challenges the
employees and employers are facing in small organisation these days. For appropriate
valuation and understanding Drive Yello, a new venture in Australia is considered
which will result to better research analysis (Yello Drive, 2018).
(Information) Objectives (specific information required to address the research problem –
must be in objective form. As a guide, minimum of three and no more than six).
To analyse the expectations of the employee which lead to dissatisfaction of the lower
management in the organisation.
To identify the demography followed in the organisation which created problems and
challenges in the work place (Bennett, et. al., 2012).
To determine the prompt decision making power of the employer which affects the
growth of organisation.
To understand the policies and regulations so that the organisation achieve profit even
after strict compliance.
To know the impact of delegation of authorities in the organisation for effective
hierarchy.
