How to secure a WordPress site
To start with site has built-in security myth. Currently, wordpress sites are more secure
than any other site. Here is how to secure one WordPress site. First one needs to secure the
wordpress login page. This that page wit /wp-admin/ extension. To do this one need to customize
the login page url and the page interaction. This is the responsibility of the website owner. By
doing so one will have protected the site from brute force from of attack. To do so; one need to
website lockdown feature and ban all the users. Second one can utilize two factor authentication
module in the login page. In here the user of the site is required to produce two different login
details. This can be a password followed by a secret question and a set of characters. Other
methods to secure one site is the use the requirement of an email to login. Using an email address
instead of username is more secure than the use of usernames. The third method is renaming the
login URL i.e. need change the wp-login.php to my_new_registration. Other methods is to adjust

one passwords and logging out idle users from the site. Also it is very important to secure one
WordPress site through the admin dashboard by protecting the WP-admin directory by password

How to provide users with secure access to WordPress site
There are various methods to provide users with secure access to one WordPress site.
One of the most common method which is also utilized by Bloomberg LEI is issuing Entity
identifiers to users. By doing this users can manage their details and registration for their
corporation’s LEI. Second one needs to be always updating everything in the WordPress site.
Always prompt your users to use complex passwords; using pets and nicknames is not enough.
The password provided by the users’ needs to be very unique and it has to be long. Third can use
the iTheme security to stop any form of automated attacks and the bulletproof security which
adds firewall security, login security and database security (Silver, 2010).
