SHAREPOINT
Microsoft SharePoint can be described as an intranet portal which is geared
towards staff collaboration. It integrates heavily with Microsoft Office and
teams on SharePoint can collaborate with each on this portal. For hosting
SharePoint, the best model is PaaS model. This is because SaaS based model
would become expensive in the long run as Microsoft charges on per employee
basis. At the same time, IaaS is not suited because it is not an ideal solution for
hosting single application which is merely a collaboration suite. On the other
hand, the PaaS is best suited based on the cost-to-benefit ratio (Hillier, 2005).

CONCLUSION
The report presented here provided the case of DTGOV who wishes to
migrate their systems to cloud based platform. Since the Amazon Web
Services platform was the chosen platform. Specifically, EC2 in Amazon
AWS was chosen. The entire cloud architecture was discussed in the
report and the details for the same was presented in the report. As it was
evident from the report, DTGOV will benefit from the move to the cloud.
There were several benefits discussed in the findings. Finally, technical
specifications for Office 365 an SharePoint was also discussed in the
report.
