E-Business is an effective process which is related to internet where company does their
al of transaction. This reports is based on David Jones, which one of the biggest retail store in
Australia (Bélanger and Crossler, 2011). The current operation of David Jones is to define
positive ambience to its customers, cash handling, customers service, safety and security training
programs and stock management all are the important operation of this which may aid in
achieving competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Main body
In the future retail store the company wants to see itself in the future time period. In this
article the company involve technology and effective tools to take more effective decision. For
this Visual Display is also mentioned which is more important to the firm to pay attention to the
customers towards its merchandise and offers (Future of Retailer Profitability: An Organizing
Framework, 2017). In this understanding the importance of the customers experience that affect
the company performance in positive way. For this project we have to choose two articles. The
first one is “The future of retail store which are not store” and second one is Development of
Comprehensive framework. According to first article they are actually stores because they face
to face interact with customers but in future they are not stores because David Jones wants to
expand their business by using new and and innovative technologies (Breitsohl, Khammash and
Griffiths, 2010). They use digitalisation online so that they attract large number of customers
over there and buy its products. David Jones provide quality products to its customers by using
internet process because today's busy environment every body go to the online shopping for
consume their time. For this they provide quality products to increase their brand image and
getting higher satisfaction by the customers. On the other hand the second article is
“Development of comprehensive framework” for this is is more important for the company to
frame new and best strategies, set effective market, stores and also define customers
development to increase their retail process (The Future of Retail Is Stores That Aren’t Stores,
2017). David Jones set their management according to the new technologies to deliver quality
products at affordable price so that they cover their disadvantage by increasing their sale of the
products. Both articles helps in improving the current operation process of the company to
maintain the retail store in appropriate manner.

From both articles we recommended that David Jones have to produce as well as provide
quality products to its customers at cheapest price. Because in online shopping some customers
think that quality is very cheap and its rate is very high. For this company have to use new and
advance technologies to develop their online process by using internet so that customers are
attracted and but company products in effective manner and satisfy their needs. Through online
marketing company increase their efficiency and also maintain the trust of the company so that
every customers use its products at affordable price. Both articles are assist in development the
overall performance and also aid in achieving competitive advantage from its rival.
