PART AE commerce is defined as selling up of goods and services tobuyers on online medium.The retailing facility using the internet or digital tools. Nowadays, many major and smallerenterprises are using e commerce platforms to promote and sell their products and services. Theadvancement of technologies have played a significant role in development of companies usingE commerce platforms and supports in growth with expansion.Part A covers measures about hospitality service provider company, HomeStay. Thereport covers the feasibility study using SWOT analysis. The advantages and issues with threatfactor are analysed. The suitable payment method for e commerce business idea is discussedwith the security issues to be faced. Overview of companyHomeStay is a Peru based company that provides home stay facilities to tourists in theform of ethnic villages and heritage homes. On the basis of their high quality products andtourism related facilities which is offered, they are able to get regular positive response fromsites like TripAdvisor. They have 12 walk-in-offices with bunch of travel agents and planning tomove to online and digital platform to get good number of audience over larger geographicalareas. Here, the proposed idea of making necessary changes by setting up of a website includesallowing customers to access accommodation facilities, self-registration facility, booking roomsand making online payments all at one site.a) Critical analysis of proposed idea using SWOT analysis discussing of business, technologicaland geographical benefits, issues and challengesThe idea proposed by management of HomeStay is to improve its website so that it canprovide the services like allowing customers to access company's accommodation facilities asper their choice, registering themselves, booking room through internet and make onlinetransaction for the services (Kim and Peterson 2017). All these will support growth andexpansion of organisation using E-commerce mediums. This is planned to improve level ofoperations and make payments related to booking of rooms.
