Strength – According to the SWOT analysis of the process of Distance learning there are
several strengths present in the field of education while comparing this which other teaching
procedures. There is no demographical limitation of learning since this process is a location
independent application. Along with this there is no limitation of physical boundary thus, the
student can access the facility from anywhere anytime. This study procedure also include the
facility of employ teaching method by which there is no limitation of student age or category.
Along with the above strengths these courses are more affordable as this cost less compared
to the others.
Weakness – Followed by the conducted SWOT analysis along with the strengths there is a
significant range of weakness present in the process of Distance learning. Since, this
procedure has less physical contacts hence, most of the industries and universities treated the
distance mode student with less priority. As per the analysis since, the user should perform
the practical in their own system is it difficult to perform it efficiently as there will be
problem regarding system version and capability. Along with these weakness there is a major
drawback regarding project monitoring and supervision.
Opportunity – Followed by the SWOT analysis several opportunities of Distance learning
has been observed such as due to wide range of accessibility the effective interaction between
the students across the world is possible as well as there is a high advantage for employed
students since, distance education offers location independent learning facility along with this
the offered courses are most of the time based on top trending topics.
Threats – According to the investigation there are few significant threats present in Distance
learning. As per the above discussion since there is a problem regarding supervision thus, the
developed projects are most of the time treated with less importance. Along with this there is
a high chance of facing problems while performing any practical task.
