 Adoption of technological advances have ensured a potential to
remotely monitor capability that can help in significantly the supply
chain management in controlling and inventorying monitoring
 Below are some of the technologies that have been applied in supply
chain management.

 Used in high-risk activities and have significantly contributed in
lowering the overall cost of service provision in the supply chain
management
 Conducting processes that require high levels of involvements and
tremendous movement

 Robotics have been introduced in managing some of the monotonous
tasks which have reduced the overall human involvement which has
led to reduction in labor cost and the number of mistakes committed
in performing those tasks.
