Therefore, the clients start expecting kindness, consideration from the carer. However, due to professional relations, the carer is not being able to consider the situations such as skipping physiotherapy or not taking medicines as these can affect the health and wellbeing of the client. What is the potential conflict of interest?Potential conflict in this situation will be between personal view and relationship with family, and the professional value and ethics. As a carer professional, the duty of a carer is to provide care to the client and do the entire task that benefits the health of the client. However, extra household work for cash is not the duty of a carer staff. This the conflict of this this condition. 2. What action should you take? (50-100 words)I will first make the family understand the ethical boundary of my profession and let them know about the works Ican do while serving for the client. However, if they do not understand my situation, I will deny their offer and do not help in any other work rather than care for the client. If the situation becomes worst, I will fill the workplace discrimination and harassment form and will inform my human resource department, as they are the one who can understand this ethical concern. Further, the supervisor and carer team manager will be informed about the situation as well. 3. List and describe what your professional boundaries are within this situation? My professional boundaries as a care provider in this situation are –1. Do not perform any other work at the client’s place, other than providing care to the client2. Part 2. As a care support worker in aged care and home and community, your clients may be elderly or you may be calledupon to provide care support for younger people with a disability. You will also be working with people from diverse cultures and ethnicities, and you will undoubtedly come across some beliefs or behaviours that are different to yours.
