him as she had been performing poorly academically at home and is sometimes displaying
aggressive behavior.
Educator: Yes of course, we are always here to help out Ron.
Mr. Brown: Lately Ron had been showing interests in art and crafts and I am happy to see that .
Educator: Yes. Mr. Brown , there are certain reasons for which we have decided to meet the
parents of all the children.
Mr. Brown: shall I worry about something. Is Ron too weak to pursue his studies?

Educator: absolutely not. It’s just like an annual assessment, which we perform on every children
routinely and we provide feedback to the parents about those tests. These assessments had been
quite popular in order to assess the unmet grievances of the children. We find it necessary from
our end to clarify inform you about the growth and the development of your children.
Mr. Brown: Alright. What kind of assessments are you performing?
Educator: These are regular assessment that we perform randomly on any child. Mr. Brown ,
there are a number of screening tests that are usually performed on each of the children for
assessing both rhe physical and the cognitive growth of the child. These tests also assists, we
teachers to construct suitable curriculum as per the educational and the cognitive needs of the
students. There are several frameworks based on which the curriculum are made. We generally
follow the ELYF (Early Years Learning Framework) for developing any assessment methods or
assessments (Australian Government Department of Education and Training, 2017).
It is a suitable learning framework designed by the government aiming to help the
educators to develop suitable curriculum for young children. While training ourselves, we have
been bestowed with the idea that each and every children has got the basic right to develop and
create a better future for them. The learning outcomes mentioned in the ELYF framework
signifies can provide opportunities to the educators to maximize the potential and develop a
foundation for their future interpersonal development.
Reflecting on the different assessments, a lot of assessment methods are nowadays used.
For example using observation and the running records, where the records are being kept without
interfering in to the children activities. There are several other means like maintaining a
