Factors influencing early childhood development

This article discusses the five factors that play an important role in early childhood development, including commitment, trust, ethical practice, compassion, and empathy. It also explores the role of educators, families, and agencies in supporting children's growth and development.

Statement 1
There are five factors in this statement. These factors play an important role in explaining
about the early childhood.
Commitment means the proper involvement of the individual with their families. It is a
sort of loyalty and dedication with each other. In early childhood, parents give or teach to the
children so that they can give respect to others and also show loyalty when they grow up. Next
factor is trust and it means reliability. In childhood, the children are asked to maintain trust or
reliability so that they can conduct their activities with honesty (Roberts, Fenton & Barnard,
2015). Next is the ethical practice which means conducting the practice in context to the rules
and regulations. It has been analyzed that children are taught to consider proper rules and
regulations. Compassion is related with the strong feeling of sympathy. In this, it has been
evaluated that in childhood the child learns to focus on the values from parents and society. It is
the important factor on which the individual should focus so that growth can take place in a
proper manner. Last is empathy which means to share the feelings with others. Children acquire
this skill from parents and also share their feelings with their friends (Smith, Cheater & Bekker,
2015).
Statement 2
The meaning of the statement means that educators have an essential role in the life of
the children as they spend maximum time with them. But it has been seen that careers of the
children are also the parent’s responsibility and they never forget about that. When the children
pass take education they share their values and lifestyles that are necessary to accept and respect.
It is necessary for the families to focus on their children's process of learning by sharing the data
about the children and also they can show them educational stories so that children can develop
their learning easily. From families, the children can easily get the suggestions and feedback to
bring improvisation and to consider another viewpoint. With the help of newsletter, poster,
events and also open communication we can consider the parents within the service and also by
focusing on the process of children learning (Woodhead, 2015).

If the proper focus is not given by the parents on their children then it can give a negative
impact on the growth and development of the children. So, parents should focus on the activities
of the children so that they can achieve success and learn in a proper way.
Statement 3
In the centers which focus on children, it has been evaluated that there can be many
backgrounds and cultures who are conducting their activities in the multicultural country if the
focus is given on Australia.
When the focus is given on the language barriers it has been analyzed that it is difficult to
deal with but there are various methods to close the gaps and can communicate effectively with
those families who are not able to speak in the English language. It also takes into consideration
interpreteur to communicate with the families as it can help to achieve growth in a proper way. If
there is no proper communication then it can be difficult to achieve success. Therefore, it is
important to consider proper channel of communication so that proper direction can be shown to
the children as it enhances the level of confidence. It has also been evaluated that if there is a
proper connection with the adults of different cultural backgrounds and communities then it can
be easy to understand information in a precise manner. Also, the barrier related to the language
can be reduced when there is proper communication. It also maximizes the level of confidence
(Banks, 2015).
Statement 4
In the present scenario, there are many people who are connecting with the people,
agencies, and services within the communities so that support can be given to the children and
families. The support that can be achieved can be related to monetary or non-monetary. If
parents and staff have a proper discussion which each other and also the expectation level is
shown properly then it can be easy to consider the mindset of the children. It will help the child
to develop and grow in the right way.
There are many agencies that provide proper services like Rutgers southern regional child
care resource and referral agency and also human service agency that offer proper help to the
children and families. It has been analyzed these agencies provides services like proper education

and jobs so that people can earn their living. If information has to be shared the focus should be
given on the advertisements so that people can get awareness about the services which are
offered by them. It is beneficial for the families and children and it gives confidence level to
conduct the activities and also boost the overall morale and values of the people (Pecora,
Whittaker, Barth, Maluccio, DePanfilis & Plotnick, 2017).
Statement 5
Families focus on giving advisory, consultative services and also play a major role in the
decision-making process. In the early childhood, the families are only the one who educates the
child to consider the right step. They give them advice about the things that what is right and
wrong. The families are the one who shows the proper direction to the children and guide them
to grow and achieve success in the proper manner. Consultative service is also provided by the
families as they teach their child to conduct the activities by taking advice or by consulting them
in a proper manner. Without proper consultation, the children will not able to conduct the
activities in the right way. It has been seen that by consulting the parents show right direction
which is beneficial for them in future to grow and develop in a proper manner (Garbarino, 2017).
In childhood, the parents play a great role to take the right decision. Parents are the one
who grows the children in a good human being. If the decisions taken by the parents are not right
then it can give a negative impact on the life of the children. So, it is essential to consider the
right decision or to make the right decision so that children can grow into a good individual
(Press, Wong & Gibson, 2015).
