1CREATION MYTH
Earth, a place where life only exists in the entire universe as we known till now. Home to
more than 8.7 million species which are both known and unknown to the human being; earth
holds many mysteries inside her (Schakel 2018). The most confusing and interesting mystery
that have raised many questions is the how it all began, how life came to existence. Science have
made its point by validating the clues by describing the laws with the fundaments of cosmology
and astrophysics that the universe came into existence with the Big Bang (Barber and Barber
2014). Life in the form of microbes was formed when the atmosphere of the earth was nothing
but hydrogen and methane. However, civilizations that have ruled the earth for aeon have some
different concept and findings regarding the origin story on earth (Barber and Barber 2014). The
following study is conducted to relate the myths that are discussed in the creation story in the
Bible with the origin of the very world that is known to the people, about the origins of gods and
the origin of human beings on earth (Layden 2013).
There are total of 4200 religions that are currently active around the globe. These
religions are part of civilizations that are older than itself. Among these civilizations, Christianity
is one of them that has the maximum numbers of followers around the world. Christianity came
to existence after the birth of Jesus Christ that dated back 2000 years ago. With the birth of
Christianity comes the birth of Bible, the holy book of the Christian. The bible consists of stories
and texts that tells the reader about the creation of Earth, the explanation of Noah and the flood,
about Moses and other facts also like about Jews. The bile is divided into many parts. The book
of genesis consists discusses about the creation of Earth and how God produced life out of
nothing and how human being is made. The first two chapters of the book narrates about the fact
that how God created Heaven and the earth first six days and then on the seventh day rests after
blessing the beings (Barber and Barber 2014).

2CREATION MYTH
The story of creation as stated in the bible describes the divine work of god and how in
the first six days in the existence god showed his fine work in making the beautiful earth and the
beings that lives in it. The existence story in the bible occurs in the first six days. In the first day
of the beginning of the divine work, God, the almighty commanded the light to shine upon the
darkness and clear the dark aura (Layden 2013). The God then looked upon the light to see the
good work he has done and then the all-father separated the light from the darkness and named
the two an day and night. After the following separation came the existence of evening and
morning. The holy work of the first day was over then (Schakel 2018).
After that began the work of second day started. God commanded a dome, not anything
in particular to separate the water above it from the water below it. The dome was created by The
God and then was separated and sky as people known it now came to existence. With the
creation of the sky, evening came and then the next morning that led to the third day. On
commence of the third day, god commanded all the water in the earth come to one place so that
dry ground could be formed. The dry ground was named as land by the almighty and all the
water around it was named as ocean (Layden 2013). The light giver looked upon the creation and
appreciated it. After the birth of the land, God commanded the earth of fill the land with plants
that would include trees and that gives fruits and plants that would give grains. After the
immense of the plants in the land, God commanded the light to appear in the sky and to separate
the day form the night, to show the time for seasons, special days and formation of years
(Schakel 2018). That is how God created two powerful lights, brighter one to rule in the day and
the other one to rule the night. Then God made stars and put them in the sky to shine over the
earth. Then after that even came evening and morning. The fifth day, God created life in the
ocean and made birds to fly over the earth. The God also provided his blessings giving them the

permission to say over wherever they want in the ocean and the earth and the fifth day ended
(Kirk 2017).
On the sixth day, God commanded gave life to all the animals that walk on the earth,
created all the tame animals, wild animals and all the reptiles. After the creation of the animals,
God started the creation of human begins. The Almighty created both man and woman and
blessed them to have children and fill the earth with them. The God blessed them to rule over the
fishes in the ocean, the animals in the lands and the birds over the sky (Barber and Barber 2014).
The creation myth in the above context states the creation of the worlds and all the beings
as we know it. The gospels in the bible of genesis tell the people about the origin of existence
which could also have scientific backing or could be explained with the help of origin story with
the big bang, the formation of life in the earth and the evolution theory (Tobin 2015).
According to the big bang theory, the observed universe as people know came into
existence with a bang of explosion that gave birth to the ever expanding universe. With the
creation, hot and boiling cluster gases were formed that gave birth to the very first sub atomic
particles were formed. It took thousands of years to form the electrically neutral atom to form.
With the blast light was formed that shined and scattered the hydrogen, helium and lithium atoms
into existence (Tobin 2015). Thus, on the first day how God commanded the light to shine, it
took more than tens of thousands of years to for the first light to sine in the universe. According
to the big bang theory, the model of the universe shows that after the quantum fluctuation, there
have been period of time that the universe was just dark without any sigh of light (Winkler
2017). After that from the burning solar nebula, the sun, earth was formed formally gave birth to
the rock solid core. In the beginning, the hot surface of the earth was molten and covered with
mostly lave. After the cooling of the surface started, the volcanos eruption liberated gases like

methane, hydrogen sulphide and tons of carbon dioxide that could not escape the earth’s gravity
and clustered above forming the atmosphere and giving birth to the sky (Otto 2015). The
existence of water in the earth could be explained with toe possible theories that states that either
with the molten lava may have rocks that had water in it that came in to the earth after the rocks
were melted or the volcanism, the gases from the volcano eruption may have traces of water
vapor that clustered in the atmosphere that cooled down after can produced precipitation and
earth received the water. This is how, the sky was separated from the water. Mostly all land was
formed by the cooling of the molten lave and it gave birth to the land as the water vapor
accumulated acted upon it. This is how, the God commanded the water one in one place (Layden
2013).
Once the land was capable of supporting life, bacteria life form started to form in the land
and slowly microbes started to grow that gave birth to plants and animals (Thury and Devinney
2016). The earth atmosphere was still composed with volcanic eruption gases that would not
allow light from the sun to penetrate. Slowly, the atmosphere started to clear and the light began
to enter. A part of earth by now have shaped in to give birth to very own satellite that would
shine through the light of the sun. Thus this is how lights was created that gave birth to both
bright light in the day and less bright in the night (Tobin 2015).
Slowly, the water is filling with organisms in the ocean and aquatic life came into
existence. Slowly inferior life forms comes into existence that produces birds and other life
forms that had wings. The very next life from in the evolution chain comes into existence that
has, reptiles and other form of mammals. This is how god created the evolution (Winkler 2017).
After this, came the evolution of much more superior being, the homo-sapiens. The
mammal homo erectus evolved into the modern day human being that is how, God created the

human being in last as the in the chain of evolution, the evolution of the human being was more
prominent (Winkler 2017).
