INTRODUCTION
People management is defined as set of strategic directions and suggestions that a
specific experienced individual in a company is accountable to provide to all the individuals that
are working together to achieve set aims. Effective communication, leadership, good decision
making and problem solving are included in list of key characteristics that encompasses in term
of people management. Human relation, principles of administrative and other types of theories
in the world of business are accessible that has been utilized in the context of managing
individuals in organizations, where they are working with each other, for purpose of achieving
strategic goals and objectives.
The current assignment will be based on Easy jet, which falls under the category of leading
airlines in the UK. It considered as lowest cost airline the world, which become the reason to
gain attention of new consumers as they prefer and tend to travel under budget. It was
established in 2017, after the government in United Kingdom triggered notice 50 to leave EU.
Recently, it has been operated its venture in aviation industry with more than 14,000 skilled
candidates including cabin crew and pilots. With talented employees it has provided satisfactory
airline services to each passenger. It is fact that organization had delivered more than 511 million
of saving in the last financial year as outcome of highly cost focus. For purpose of increasing
organizational productivity and performance level, it has utilized hierarchal structure. Johan
Lundgren is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Easy Jet, who provide strategic direction to
firm to provide its satisfactory services across national boundaries within many nations. It
included Belgium, Denmark, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Austria, Croatia, etc. The study will explain how
leadership & management, Training & development and Talent management as key areas
underpin performance management at chosen firm.

Situational is the best style of leadership theory, as it provides a lot of benefits to user
such as a leader, in term of managing individuals performance in an organization, and increasing
their productivity, better than last few months or weeks (Madanchian and Taherdoost, 2019).
