[a]Do you think EasyJet successful no-frills strategy is sustainable?
EasyJet being one of the best known European low price airlines, the successful no-frill is
sustainable although it undergoes some stiff competitions( Bergantino, & Capozza, 2012) .The
successful no-frills is sustainable due to the ambitious advantage in which easy jets centralize on
costs, therefore gains overall cost leadership hence it resides in cost recess position. This makes
the easy jets successful no-frills strategy being sustainable. Another reason for its sustainability
is that easy jets is a ticket less airline. The customers does not undergo many processes for the
bookings since they only require passport for their travels. Through this few travel requirements
by easy jets the customers prefer using it rather than other airlines.

EasyJet does not offer luxuries such as providing free snacks and free lunch hence it does
not incur extra costs( Bergantino, & Capozza, 2015).Instead, the customers are aware that they
should buy themselves snacks/drinks or lunch therefore making the successful no-frill strategy
successful. The no-frill strategy is sustainable since easy jets have strong brand name in the low
charges airline industry; the company also has the personalized vogue among customers,
business or vacation for the low cost and its effectuality. Through reducing turn arounds to thirty
minutes and below, easyjets can achieve extra rotations on the high frequency routes, this make
it to maximize utilization rates of its aircraft. This makes the no-frill strategy to be sustainable.
The successful no-frill strategy is sustainable due to lack of business class, there are
many seats for the passengers to occupy therefore manage a large accommodation for the
customers and this favours its operations. Since easyjets does not operate through mobile phones
and some broacher sent through texts to reach the customers ‘instead it uses internet to sell most
of its seats hence easyjets ticket less makes it different from its rivals hence making the
successful no-frills strategy sustainable. The successful no-frills strategy is sustainable because
Stelios is constantly present at his headquarters located at Luton and always ready and willing to
approach customers and win through their problems, suggestions and improvements which
should be worked on. Due to these ways and tactics which easyjets have decided to undertake it
is able to sustain the successful no-frill strategy.
