The video focusses on the concept of ‘contemporary education’ being dependent on
the idea of ‘rat race' – the way academic world treats students and systematizes education in a
highly competitive manner. The video focusses on the aspects of multiple flairs being present
in various creatures and successfully, beautifully substantializes the notion of multiple
intelligence being put forward by famous psychologist Howard Gardner. The video
determines the presence of differential flairs in different humans (which over here has been
denoted by animals going to a human ideated ‘Animal school’). It is indeed wonderful how
the video portrays the different ‘animals’ excelling in different subjects but their talents are
being suppressed and blocked by the teachers in the ‘animal school’. Various creatures such
as fish, beer, kangaroo, duck, owl has been presented as the major characters in this video
clip named ‘animal clips’. The implication of the clip lies in the fact that little children can be
seen as animals who lacks vocalization ability and opinionated expression like the elders and
as because, they cannot speak out their feelings directly – their actions are suppressed more.
In the video, the eagle is shown as an important character who is depicted as a ‘troublemaker’
and the one who is unconventional and sticks to his own rules, conducts. The eagle wanted to
fly and the kangaroo wanted to run for he came first in the racing class, the duck is excellent
in math and average in English. All these animal students are forced the other way to excel in
the subjects or the ‘acts’ they are not good at. Beautifully again, the video clip portrays how
in a human society and academic system, the idea of forcing or rather pressurizing everyone
to be the same is being glorified day by day. In most parts of world, the academic culture
extended by the schools, colleges and institutions enforces refrainment of a student from his
or her areas of interest and directs them to an equivalent ‘same for all’ grade system and this
takes every one with different strengths and weaknesses to pass under the same radar, thus
evaluating each unique personality in the same identical way. Finally a monotony, a boredom
seeps in and the unconvinced students leave the system itself just like the cat in the video. In
