Analyzing Self Skills: A Reflection on Educational Artifacts

This artifact presents a personal reflection on educational artifacts and analyzing self skills using Gibbs reflective model. The author discusses their experience with a group assignment, evaluates what went right and wrong, and identifies their strengths and weaknesses. The presentation also includes a SWOT analysis based on the author's experience, highlighting opportunities and threats for their future career. The article concludes with the importance of focusing on self-weaknesses and using self-strengths to improve weaknesses.

INTRODUCTION
Analysing self skills is highly important as it
provides idea about the self strengths and weaknesses. This arti-
fact is concerned with the reflection that determines my
personal experience in context of skills and areas of
improvement.
Reflection
During this year I have learned numerous things along with
this, I have analysed the area of improvement as well. Gibbs reflective
model is consist of the six phases that helps in analysing self
experience. It is consists of Description, feeling, evaluation, analysis,
conclusion and action plan (Adeani, Febriani and Syafryadin, 2020).
Starting my experience with description phase, during this year I got
group assignment in which the group task has been given to me and my
mates. We were total of four members. During this task, I had
numerous feeling as one of the member of group was not coordinating
with us and this was creating disturbance for all members & I was
leader in that particular task. I felt that, I am unable to handle situation.
In evaluation phase, I evaluated that what went right and what do not.
Here, I got to know that, the member who was not coordinating with us
was having issues related to the task that has been given to him.
SWOT ANALYSIS ON THE BASIS
OF EXPERIENCE
Strengths- On the basis of experience I
have analysed my strengths and that is
effective communication and
leadership skills.
Weaknesses- I need to make focus
over my decision-making skills so, I
can take most appropriate decisions.
Opportunities- My strengths will open
up numerous opportunities for me in
career as at my job, effective
communication skill will help me to
understand my co-workers. Also,
leadership skill enable me to assure
them motivation
Threats- Ineffective decision-making
skills can create threat for me in
relation of taking wrong decision.

CONCLUSION
Focusing on self-weaknesses and using self strength in order to
improve weaknesses opens up numerous opportunities for future.
