Career Responsibilities
o Responsible for entering bills of quantities into Estimating software/Excel software
o Assist in the preparation of the Bid Budget as required
o Attend site visit
o Prepare Budgets / Cost Plans as necessary clearly stating the basis of our submission including, scope
of works, information used to compile it and the contract terms & conditions.

o Selected Subcontractors rates to be transferred into the nett cost estimate as required.
o Liaise with the Supply Chain Buyer / Project Surveyor (If applicable) to identify the buying opportunity
in the tender – for presentation at Adjudication.
o Direct pricing of items, as necessary.
o Prepare an Estimate of Prime Cost
o Preparation of Tender Workbook for presentation at the Tender Finalization/Adjudication meeting.
o Attend Tender Finalization meeting.
o Make and record adjustments agreed at the Tender Finalization meeting and prepare Final Summary.
o Obtain signed authorization of the Final Summary from appropriate person.
o Check that contractor’s proposals/scope of works included reflects what has been priced.
o Compilation of Tender Handover file.
o Produce a high-level cost plan to check customer affordability / funding
