This article explores the lack of technical skills in new business graduates it adverse impacts on
organizational productivity and performance along with global competitiveness. These gaps are
continually increasing with global competitiveness in the business environment. Although,
business schools are pouring all hard efforts into developing non-technical background people
and they also developing employability in this field. However the education system and more
specifically business schools ignoring or paying less attention to measure the skill outcomes and
placing to business graduates at an adequate workplace. This ignorance of business school
towards employment placement of new business graduates gives a sense that these business
schools and stakeholders assume that graduate people will automatically place in employment,
irrespective of the role of learning programs and leaners skills and characteristics. But this
negligence of stakeholders towards the employment placement of learners is impacting on
graduate employability. This research article highlights and finds out the employment placement
concepts. This article suggests that stakeholders need to develop strategies, attitudinal change
and systematic measurement of outcomes of non-technical skills in education, organization, and
work settings. Furthermore, this study recommended that stakeholders need to develop skills in
undergraduate students to accomplish employment goals.
Additionally, this article also explores that business organizations and employers need to accept
mastery of skills in students provided by the educational organization and consider that skills can
be enhanced through various learning and training programs (Jackson 2013).

This article also discussed growing concern towards education curriculum and issues with
graduate employability with focusing on the engagement of undergraduate people in skills
development concepts. This research shows that there is a sheer lack of employability definition
and unclear concept regarding the employability. This research observes that students presume
short-term means about employability and instudnets terms finding a job is employment. But for

the researcher employment means employability with maintaining longer-term quality in
employment.
The most common skills as per studies are team working, information technology,
communication, organizing, and planning. Besides, this study found hardworking, adaptability,
flexibility, commitment, and dedication as personal attributes.
This study also says that not only the universities but another stakeholder including students are
merely interested in the skill development curriculum. Besides, unclear and ambiguous
contribution of skills and attributes in daily practices which results in ignorance towards higher
education institutions in skill development. Also, the ability of higher education institutions in
employability generation and development is suspicious.
It is also found the curriculum in which embedded skills lead demotivation in the first and
second years students and increase less engaement in skill development activities. Thus, to
improve in this area higher education institutions need to increase awareness of employability
and communicating benefits of students' engagement for skill development (Tymon 2013 ).

This research article identified that in the competitive job environment there are critical gaps lies.
In the job market soft skills are much required for the job. This study revealed that ability,
experiences, competencies, and knowledge which can be filled by learning, training and working
experience. Similar to other research studies this study also states and identified the lack of
education system in developing skills in students and graduates. This examines that the higher
education system is not able to develop the required skills set in students and which is
unfortunate for the education system and business world throughout the globe.
Thus, to fill these gaps and develop a skillset in business graduates several business
organizations are struggling and spending high amounts in learning and training programs
especially in business graduates as a new recruited employees. Most of the business
organizations need soft skills and nontechnical skills such as proficiency in languages especially
English languages for internal and external business communication. Apart from communication
