The research uses probability sampling technique with systematic random sampling to study the impact of economic power shift from East to West on the commercial banking sector in the United Kingdom. The data analysis combines both quantitative and qualitative techniques, including Microsoft Office Excel, SPSS, and thematic analysis. The study highlights the opportunities and threats faced by UK banks operating globally and regionally, particularly for Lloyd TBS, HSBC, and Standard Chartered Bank. It also explores the implications of globalization on the US dollar and its effect on UK banks. Additionally, it emphasizes the difference between commercial and investment banks.
