Literature Review
There have been various literatures reviewed on this subject to find out the effective of
business communication within an industry taking different industries into consideration. The
papers to review have been selected based on the relevance to the topic under discussion and the
variety they focus on keeping in mind about the different industries in competition with each
other (Bargiela-Chiappini & Nickerson, 2014). The literatures are relevant and they possess
varied information about different industries. All of the papers selected for the review are peer
reviewed journals presented in different conferences.
According to (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (2016), It has been
found that the data that is generated within an industry make the information management
systems flooded with data which are difficult to handle given the condition of the entire business
system in the latest time. The data gathering tools that are utilized for generating and
channelizing data within the industry are also responsible of generating pile loads of data.
However, the business organizations have no idea about the channelizing of these pile loads of
data and it is necessary that a solid way out needs to be strategized to make sure that the data is
not misused or left unused.
The authors Mayfield & Mayfield (2017), have focused on the fact that effective business
communication further is facilitated by the knowledge management within an industry which
makes sure that any information generated within the organization is conveyed to the relevant
members in the business organization. It is not necessary that all the information is conveyed to
all of the people within the organization, but it is necessary that the business organization should
acknowledge the transfer of information to the relevant people (Cardon, 2014). This also makes
sure that the existing customers and potential customers also get facilitated by this business
