The current assignment will explain personal learning and methods in the context of effective businesscommunication.Thisreportwillclarifythecomponentsofgoodbusiness communication and their importance. It will also justify application of Gibbs model of reflection inregardtoreflectivestatementbaseonoveralllearning,relatetoeffectivebusiness communication in the workplace. MAIN BODY Learning about good business communication I have learned many things about effective business communication from the previous module and conducted research. I have understood the procedure relate to choose topic that has been conducted at workplace, in order to flow information easily and successfully. Along with this, I have also learned about the impact of effective business communication in work area. I have gathered the information about challenges of interaction between two or more people and also learned how to overcome these barriers by applying appropriate solutions. I have learned about the current topic from entire work is that it provides benefits in terms of increasing productivity level. Ways to improve business communication skills Active listening, non-verbal communication skill, cultural awareness, Collaboration, Public speaking, and Written communication skill are all included in list of effective business communications skills (Rusu and Chiriță, 2017). I might improve all these skills by using the right methods and techniques. For example, I may enhance collaboration skill by conducting collaborative practices with other people at workplace in form of working on same projects outside my comfort zone. Furthermore, just like above one I might use other approaches in context of specific competence which enable me to improve that. My improvements relate to
communication skills help me to go forward in form of sharing important information that help to achieve set goals and business objectives. Elements of business communication Encoding, sender, ideas, receiver, communication channel, decoding and feedback are the different forms of components of effective business communication (Kuscu and et.al., 2019). Moreover,consistency,clarifyandmediumarealsoencompassesinabovecontext. Communication sources or channel in my view point is specially essential because it makes person able to share information in systematic and effective manner which message receiver may easily understand. Consistency is another component that is important in regard to effective businesscommunicationprocess.Itissignificantintermofcreatingfavourablework environment characterized by productivity and trust. Reflective statement Description- ByusingGibbsreflectivemodel,Iwanttodescribemypersonallearningand understanding relate to effective business communication learned from the above study. I have gained a lot of important knowledge and information about the benefits of conducting good communication in workplace. While making presentationbased on chosen topic in have developed my understandingabout communicationskills, channelsand solutionsused to overcome issues. Feelings- I am feeling excited to make a PowerPoint presentation that includes key information about the impact of, channels, barriers, and solutions to effective business communication. Along with this feeling, I felt nervousness while creating PPT as it needs to be created in a systematic manner including images. Evaluation- My overall experience is quite good as I have learned how available solutions in regard to barriers to effective business communication, have overcome challenges that most people face while communicating with others in the workplace.
