Introduction
Health and social care refers to the treatment of all medical conditions in relation with hospitals,
various health care centres. In context with social care it means the care been provided to adults,
young people as well as children too who need extra support. Effective handling of necessary
information can be done with the help of disclosing the information of only those people who
use health and social care services in relation with the legislation and agreed ways of working.

As per the human resource act , 1998, it is important
in health and social care as it protects an
individual from discrimination been done in
relation with all human rights. There is a right
with respect to private and family life and the
right to not be discriminated against anything.

the basis of sex, disability or race. As per the
carers codes of practice it gets applied on health
and social care support as it defines that all
organisations should assure that all necessary
and personal data is been kept confidential.
