Technology is being continuously evolving in each every field and organizations need to align with it for achieving
competitive advantages. Hospitals and healthcare settings are building its healthcare activities by adopting technological
frameworks. One of the most important facilities that have been provided by technologies is advanced arrangements of record
keeping methods (Mastebroek and et.al., 2014). Healthcare settings like Surrey and Sussex hospital have increased its record
keeping process by adopting technological tools in gathering patients' details and reporting number of admissions, discharges
electronically. It has also laid emphasis on service involvement models and applications to strengthen its process of medical
recording services.

documented properly. As per NICE guidelines, hospitals are required to establish a person- centered approach within its premises

technology have raised the quality of employees selection process for delivering effective care to patients (Glasby, 2017).
Furthermore, all hospital management activities can be easily conducted and planned with business activities. Staffing, costing,
budgeting and other functions may be performed smoothly with help of digital technologies. Moreover, various surgeries are being
performed with inclusion of robotic aids and telemedicine. Digital technologies like bar code system in hospital pharmacy reduces
manual errors and faults occur in prescription and medicine supply.

Linn and Andrews, 2014). Apart from this, technologies have raised quality of services within hospitals.
Technologies have increased data security measures as well and patients can be ensured for strong data protection in
hospitals. Adoption of laws related to data security and management of health data by using suitable secure systems have increased
confidentiality and privacy of patients. Information breach have reduced in healthcare settings with an introduction to secure digital
protocols.
