INTRODUCTION
The effective students have many key skills and characteristics in common. They are able to
take responsibilities, manage their time, use their strength and address their weaknesses
because successful students know how to focus on their studies. However, they take break
when they need and have meaningful schedules for their studies. In this presentation, it will
be discussed how to be an effective students and what qualities or skills does a student have.
What habits do they make to be an effective students.

How to be an effective student
It is essential to become an effective students because good study skills increase the confidence of a
student. It make them competent to become professional and develop various qualities in them and
increase their self-esteem as well. Developing good skills and learning strategies help the students in
universities and reduce their anxiety about their tests and deadlines. To become an impressive
student, they need to improve their skills and have ability to learn and retain knowledge. The
students who use their intellectual in learning will be capable to create mentally themselves and
more worthwhile.

So, here are some habits or tips which need to be considered to become an intelligent
student that are as under:
Be responsible: An student should be capable to take responsibilities for the work
assigned to them such as test, assignments, classwork and so on. Those students who
are accountable for the obligation given to them, prompt them to take action by
meeting with their teachers and tutors when they need help. They spend extra time on
their studies through practising or reviews and seeking other resources which can
assist in their studies. Responsibility help the students in finding out their strengths
and weaknesses that may provide assistance in improving their academic skills and
make them professional.

Time management: To become successful, a students should be punctual of time and need to be
capable to manage it both during the class and outside it. Proper time management requires an
student to organise and plan for the tasks which may involve their projects, assignments,
extracurricular activities and so on. By organising their time, they are able to get their goals by
giving each activity time on specified duration and without multitasking. This assist an student to
priorities his work which are essential to take action on them. It help the students in reducing stress
or work load when the it is get done in time and also prevent an student to be a procrastinator.

whether they are better or not. So an effective students should accept the choices that they have made
as they provide various alternatives for doing best work. It also enable an student to keep working
towards the goals which are clearly defined to him.

or ideas of the participants which help in enjoyable learning and support to the students.

ACADEMIC SKILLS
There are various academic skill that an effective student must posses which
enable the students to become more proficient learner. It gives confidence to
them to participate in extracurricular activities schools while handling
academics projects. These skills develop the ability of critical thinking in the
students and help in interacting with other persons or students. When
students have good academic skills so it help them in getting various
employment opportunities. This also provide assistance in becoming more
self dependent so the various academic skill that can help in future growth of
