Introduction
Social media has become a phenomenon in recent times and its impact of people’s
lives are increasing. Studies suggest that it has implications on interpersonal relationship,
academic performance, mental health and social interaction. The topic in question thus is the
“Effects of Social Media on Real Life”. The following section creates an annotated

mental health outcome and provides a definitive direction for the determination of specific
behavior related to youth’s use of social media. Moreover, the relevancy of the study in this
context is high as it impounds the importance of looking into individual behavior or
personality rather that the time spent online.

body image issues. This is highly relevant as body image issues are concern of real life
