elderly as it helps them to regain their
ability to live independently.
Reduces the risk of hypertension
Helps to control blood pressure
Improves the stamina and muscle
strength
Helps in maintenance of healthy bones,
joints and muscles.
Prevents risk of falls, bine fractures,
joint swelling, pains
Reduces the chances of acquiring
cardiac diseases, diabetes, blood and
colon cancer and so on (Reiner et al.,
2013).

improves the cognitive
strength of elderly people.

joint movements (Hallal et al.,
2012).
