time or all the time. Electric vehicles industry include several vehicles which use electric motors
for the purpose of driving the wheels. Now a day, the use of electric vehicles have been
increased as the people are shifting from the fuel vehicles to the electric vehicles because of its
less cost of running. In 1828, Ányos Jedlik, build an electric car but he was not able to invent
electromagnetic device. That electric car include DC motor which is known as stator, rotor and
commutator (Bhattacharyya and Thakre 2020). In the development of electric vehicles industry,
United Kingdom has its importance. UK is consider as the second largest automotive
manufacturing hub in Europe. This report include the detailed research of Electric Vehicles
industry which shows its sustainability. In addition to this, it also deal with the reflective report
which obey the sustainability ideas of industry.

to 400 km. Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV): It include all those vehicles which generate their
own electricity from fuels such as hydrogen rather than plugging in the electricity grid to
recharge. Refilling of fuel can be done as similar to the other fuel cars. Plug-in Hybrids (PHEVs): It include those vehicles which which can switch running on
electricity or any fossil fuel (Chu and et. al., 2019). It include a small and low powered
battery with low range of 40 to 90 km.
Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs): Such vehicles include much smaller battery which is
rechargeable while driving. These vehicles can run in electric mode for a few miles.
Several of recent studies state that both fuel based as well as electric vehicles are similarly
harmful to the environment even the electric vehicles are worse for environment as compared to

electric vehicles industry and suggest to the people to buy the same. These vehicles are driven by
the electric motors on the place of fuel. These vehicles are are found as the safest vehicles for
environment. From a recent report it has been found that a electric vehicle save an average of 1.5
million grams of CO2 while running on the roads. I can improve my lifestyle through the use of
electric vehicles as it help us in maintaining the environment clean which is beneficial for all
people living in the society.
Increase in the pollution is the global problem. Several of organisations of different
industries are adopting eco-friendly activities by reducing natural resources and electric vehicles
are also the result of eco-friendly practices. As a result, it has been also found that the use of
electric vehicles have been increasing globally. Use of transportation in daily life is impacting
the health and environment of our society. Fuels based vehicles use fuel to run and eject
pollutants such as carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide which effect the quality of air in various

because of its features of saving environment. Government of United Kingdom is also supporting

industry. After a few years, entire fuel based vehicle industry will be replaced by the electric
vehicle industry. It is found as the best replacement which will help the society in improving
their lifestyle and living in the pure air.
