INTRODUCTION
Electric vehicles refers to those vehicles which run through the use of electricity some
time or all the time. Electric vehicles industry include several vehicles which use electric motors
for the purpose of driving the wheels. Now a day, the use of electric vehicles have been
increased as the people are shifting from the fuel vehicles to the electric vehicles because of its
less cost of running. In 1828, Ányos Jedlik, build an electric car but he was not able to invent
electromagnetic device. That electric car include DC motor which is known as stator, rotor and
commutator (Bhattacharyya and Thakre 2020). In the development of electric vehicles industry,
United Kingdom has its importance. UK is consider as the second largest automotive
manufacturing hub in Europe. This report include the detailed research of Electric Vehicles
industry which shows its sustainability. In addition to this, it also deal with the reflective report
which obey the sustainability ideas of industry.

Detailed analyses of Electric Vehicles industry
Electric vehicles run through the use of electric motors by large and rechargeable
batteries. Range is described as the distance which have been derived by EV between recharges.
EV industry include variety of categories of electric vehicles which are given below:
 Battery Elevtric Vehicles (BEVs): It refers to those vehicles which use battery as an
only source of power. Mostly, it include non luxury models with a quoted range of 160
to 400 km.
 Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV): It include all those vehicles which generate their
own electricity from fuels such as hydrogen rather than plugging in the electricity grid to
recharge. Refilling of fuel can be done as similar to the other fuel cars.
 Plug-in Hybrids (PHEVs): It include those vehicles which which can switch running on
electricity or any fossil fuel (Chu and et. al., 2019). It include a small and low powered
battery with low range of 40 to 90 km.
 Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs): Such vehicles include much smaller battery which is
rechargeable while driving. These vehicles can run in electric mode for a few miles.
Several of recent studies state that both fuel based as well as electric vehicles are similarly
harmful to the environment even the electric vehicles are worse for environment as compared to
