Reflective essay
Introduction
The paper reflects upon the comparison of multiple intelligences according to the survey
result. It provides with the strengths and weaknesses based on the results and the scope for
improving the weaknesses. Also, it discusses various competencies that are needed to become a
global citizen in the globalized world.
Part 1
The theory of multiple intelligences of Howard Gardner states the fact that there
comprise of various types of intelligence. Several bits of intelligence have been identified by
Howard Gardner they are Naturalist and Intrapersonal, Musical, Kinesthetic or Bodily, Visual or
Spatial, Logical or Mathematical and Linguistic or Verbal (Gardner, 2018) The Johari Window
is considered to be an information processing tool that represents certain information based on
motivation, intentions, skills, attitudes, knowledge, views, experiences and feelings (Kaufmann,
and Wagner, 2017). As per my results based on Multiple Intelligence Test Linguistic, Kinesthetic
and Naturalist are my top three intelligence. As per my results, I am 14% Intrapersonal,
Linguistic and Kinesthetic, whereas I am 15% Naturalist. The results also state the fact that I am
11% Visual and Interpersonal and 12%Logical as well as 10% Musical. From the results, I
acknowledged that being Naturalist is considered to be one of my stronger intelligence as
compared to others. Whereas, the results of my two associates presents fewer naturalists
intelligence than me. My naturalist score is 76% while the score of my two associates is 54% and
57%. Moreover, Kinesthetic or Bodily Intelligence is also considered one of my stronger
intelligence. My Kinesthetic or bodily score comprises 74% whereas the score of two of my
associates is 68% and 62% which is less as compared to my score.

On the other hand, my Linguistic or Verbal intelligence is also determined to be one of
my stronger intelligence which comprise of 70%. While the score of the other two associates is
estimated at 56% and 61% which is again less than my score. Intrapersonal Intelligence is also
considered to be my stronger intelligence which comprises of 70%. Whereas, the score of my
other two associates are considered to be 56% and 58%. Here again, I got the highest score as
compared to my associates. However, my Mathematical or Logical Intelligence is determined to
be moderately strong as compared to one of my associates. Thus, my score is 60% which is less
than the score of one of my associate that is 67% and higher than another associate that is 54%.
Again the results of my Spatial or Visual Intelligence is considered to be moderately strong
which comprise 57% which is the same as the scores of two associates. Meanwhile, my
Interpersonal Intelligence and Musical Intelligence are considered to be moderately strong which
is evaluated at 57% and 54% which is less than the score of my two associates.

weaknesses the people are more concerned to enhance their strengths. Thus, people adopt three
stages of strength-based approach they are changed behavior, integration, and identification. It is
observed from the survey result that I possess some unique set of traits that makes me feel who I
am. The Personality max report helps me better understand various multiple intelligence that I
possess. It can be seen that my top three bits of intelligences are Linguistic, Kinesthetic and
Naturalist. I consider all these intelligence as my greatest strengths. Being a naturalist, I could
easily differentiate patterns in nature. Another strength of mine is I possess strong Kinesthetic or
Bodily Intelligence where I possess excellent coordination and motor skills. One of my strengths
is I possess strong Linguistic or Verbal Intelligence where I can communicate complex concepts
and teach others. I also have strong Intrapersonal Intelligence where I am good at understanding
myself and helping others. People with this intelligence are interested in theology, psychology,
and philosophy (Ang, Rockstuhl and Tan, 2015). Thus as per the results me too is interested in
all these factors.
My significant weaknesses is Mathematical or Logical, Spatial or Visual, Interpersonal
and Musical Intelligence. As per the results, I have scored less in all these intelligence. I am
weak in doing complex calculations, abstractions, and measurements and has difficulty to
understand the mathematical models. I also have weak Interpersonal Intelligence where I am less
enthusiastic and lively. I also lack the quality of Musical Intelligence where I could not identify
the tones and sounds easy. Therefore, I need to work hard to excel in all these intelligence to
achieve success in life. I need to focus upon towards improving my mathematical calculations as
well as needs to appreciate rhythm and music.
Part 3
Globalization is considered to be the process where the interconnections across the world
in every aspect of the activity is developing (Martin-Raugh, Kell and Motowidlo, 2016). It does
not occur by a single force rather it is caused by dynamic interconnections that include cultural,
economic, political and technological spheres. A global citizen is a person who recognizes being
a part of a community of an emerging world. It is also referred to the person whose actions
effectively contributes to developing this community's practices and values (Ruvalcaba-Romero,
Fernández-Berrocal, Salazar-Estrada and Gallegos-Guajardo, 2017). To become a well global
citizen, the global engagement forces are providing help to few people so they can recognize

global citizens. Such type of help is provided to those who possess a sense of belonging to a
world community. This forces of global engagement will help me to recognize the global citizens
efficiently. Making wise use of the forces of transportation and communications technologies as
well as modern information will help me to become a well global citizen. It can be seen that a
global citizen does not abandon the identities of others like allegiances to our nation's political
and ethical beliefs. Hence, I must follow these aspects which would enhance my ability to
become a well global citizen.
Also, the traditional identities would provide me with a true meaning of life and will help
to develop our characteristics. However, to become a global citizen in a globalized world, I need
to develop my identification to enhance the values of the world community. It is necessary for a
global citizen to understand the layer of responsibility that is added (Mayer, Caruso and Salovey,
2016). This added layer of responsibility must be shared with others within the community.
Thus, to become a global citizen, I must understand, adopt and share this added layer of
responsibility. Mostly a global citizen needs to adopt a global way to develop consistent value-
based community across the world (Sternberg, 2015). Therefore, it is significant for me to build
and develop sustainable values to the community all over the world. I must share values such as
gender equity, religious pluralism, environmental protection and respect for human rights into
the world of community. I understood the fact that becoming a global citizen needs to explore
the values like preservation of cultural diversity and humanitarian assistance, removal of mass
destruction weapons, prevention of conflicts among the countries, alleviation of poverty and
sustainable economic growth worldwide. Therefore, all these values must be shared by a global
citizen within the workplace he is working (Macnamara, 2016).
Conclusion
The paper concluded by providing a critical comparison of the survey results based on
multiple intelligences. The comparison is made as per the results, and it applied the concept
based on Johari Window. It is observed that it is necessary to develop a global identity to become
a well global citizen.
