theories in career aspiration. This report also reflects the strengths of an individual and the
manner in which these strengths plays a vital role in shaping the future of an individual

Identify what you consider to be some of the key aspects of the Gallup Strengths theory
The Gallup theory is the theory which recognizes the prime elements of strengths in a person so
that he can survive in the competitive business market. This theory is one of the best theories in
the fields of management and helps in shaping the future of a person. The key aspects of the
Gallup Strengths theory are stated below:
 grate leaders hire talent
 play favourites
 Discover the right fit
 lay attention on strength and not on weaknesses
 elucidate the appropriate outcomes and not the accurate stages
 layout clear expectations
 take care of the employees
 recognize the excellent performances
 Value the opinions (Jackson, 2014).
All the above-specified aspects of the Gallup strength theory play a significant role in helping a
person to find an accurate job. The Gallup Strengths theory is one of the most effective and
efficient business tools which examines the strengths or capabilities of a person

Reflect on a minimum of three of your strengths
Strength is the capabilities or skills which are learned by a person by working in numerous
situations. Three main strengths of mine are sated below:
Firstly, I can work under pressure and deal with the people who feel demotivated. It is important
to deal with the emergencies in an appropriate manner for which I can put great views and ideas.
Secondly, I can even take quick decisions at the time of emergencies as I mentioned earlier.
Thirdly, I can look for better options and innovative approaches for accomplishing the given
goals or targets. I will be able to look into the better alternatives for building an effective and
efficient future. Having an innovative and quick approach towards the problems will make me a
more competent and flexible person. All these strengths will help me in shaping my future.

I can apply all my strengths to accomplish my career aspirations in an effective and efficient
manner. I with my agility and flexibility can always look for a better career opportunity. My
strength will always help me to tap into the opportunities which are arising at my workplace.
Having a good knowledge regarding my field and career will help me in developing and
shaping my future in an appropriate manner. My career prospers with the assistance of my own
strengths .Having good strength makes me more competent in my field of work. Further, my
strengths will assist me to shine and rise at my workplace. Finally, I can say that all my
strengths are essential for me as they help me in transforming my present and future.

The two theories which are used in this module are Gallup Strengths theory and Maslow theory.
Both the theory plays a significant part in building my future and present.
A critical appraisal of both the theories is stated below:
Positive aspect:
 I will be able to develop a better future
 By using these theories I can be more flexible and competent in my field of study
 I will be able to look into better alternatives (Benson, et. al., 2014).
Negative aspect:
 There can be chances if negative impressions and influences while using these theories in
my career planning.
 these theories can put me in pressure and can confuse me regarding the choices I need to
go with
It should be noted that there is no flaw in both the theories.

The elements or the components of the above-specified theories are used for building my future.
I can now deal with my problem in a correct and well organized manner. I through these theories
can evaluate the right and wrong for me. Further, I will be able to accomplish my set goal and
objectives in the required time frames. The theories denote above will help me to be more goal
oriented and to critically think about the different problem which is faced by me while working
in the different environment. The elements of being self-dependent will help me in shaping a
better future for my working and professional life. I can look into the better sides and be a very
optimistic person. Further, I can say that these theories help me a lot to look for the better job
and positions in the current position. My entire knowledge and skills enhanced by using the
above-specified theories (Gerard, 2012).

From the above report, it can be seen that strength and capabilities help an individual to better a
bright future. Further, it can be concluded that Gallup theory is a very important theory to
identify the strength of a person. Strengths of a person define the amount of flexibility and
