INTRODUCTION
Employability and professional development refers to set of actions which help
individual in order to improve their skill, personal attributes and understandings which helps
them to achieve their goals as well as get employment in top industries (Casinader and
Clemans, 2018).
This report covers importance of an employability portfolio, identification and evidence
of current skills levels of an individual. It further describe individual selected job within tourism
and aviation industry. It also includes individual CV and covering letter and personal
development plan.

Importance of an employability portfolio
Employability portfolio is a collected record of an individual which describes individual
skills, experience, knowledge and attributes which required or help them to get specific position
in an industry. It is useful for the employees in order to get focus on their skills in order to get
develop for their future growth in an organisation. It is important for an individual in order to
make their skill more creative for an specific position in an organisation. It is also important for
an employer in order to provide samples of their work to their potential customer (Crisp and
Oliver, 2019). It is helpful or useful for an employee in order to get promotion within in its
organisation by reviewing it. It makes an employee highly productive for its workplace by
highlighting their skills, attributes and knowledge which is good and which need to be improve
in effective manner.
Identifying current skills
Swot analysis is a framework uses to determine internal factors and external factors in
order to create a future plan. This analysis will help me in analysing my strengths as well as
