This Coursework module, Employability skills I am going to be explaining
how Gallup Strengths and Johari Windows concepts will be utilised for
professional development and improving the possibilities of success in
future. Also, the role of professional networking will be addressed in the
growing technological world.
Employability skills are considered by companies as the most critical
twenty-first-century economy skills that will prepare progress in the
workplace. (Jacob, 2015)
1:0 Know yourself.
I'm currently studying business management at GSM London. The reason I
chose to study business management because it would help me achieve
the career that I desire which is to become a Recruitment consultant and
this degree would help me achieve that goal.
The key strengths that are needed to become a recruitment consultant
include, having excellent communication skills, customer service skills,
the capability to work under pressure and meeting objectives on time.

In the Johari Window is a psychological method that was designed by
Joseph Luft and Harry Ingham in 1955. This strategy is a manageable but
knowledgeable tool for understanding and practice. This tool mostly
concentrates on the soft skills, for example, interpersonal development,
compassion, intergroup development, behaviour and co-operation.
The Johari Window is a great approach to use because of its easy to
understand and also because it can be practised in different types of
circumstances and environments. (Self Awareness, 2013)
The Johari window method of sending and allowing feedback is defined in
this method. The Johari Window is designed as a window with four
windowpanes. Two of the windowpanes is about what's known to you
about yourself and the other two windowpanes are about the hidden to
you but not to other people. The information would change from one
windowpane to the other this is because of shared trust which can be
accomplished by socialising. (Hoffman-Miller, 2013).
One of the strengths that I got from the Johari Window test was being an
organised individual this strength would help me in the recruitment
industry because of there a lot of things that has to happen when
recruiting some to a job, you will need to organise interviews, documents
and training.
Another theory that I have used is the Gallup strengths, for many years
the Clifton strengths assessment has been helping people exceed. For
example, top business executives and managers to teachers, nurse and
