This Coursework module, Employability skills I am going to be explaining how GallupStrengths and Johari Windows concepts will be utilised for professional development andimproving the possibilities of success in future. Also, the role of professional networking willbe addressed in the growing technological world.Employability skills are considered by companies as the most critical twenty-first-centuryeconomy skills that will prepare progress in the workplace.[ CITATION Jac15 \l 2057 ]1:0 Know yourself.I'm currently studying business management at GSM London. The reason I chose to studybusiness management because it would help me achieve the career that I desire which is tobecome a Recruitment consultant and this degree would help me achieve that goal.The key strengths that are needed to become a recruitment consultant include, havingexcellent communication skills, customer service skills, the capability to work underpressure and meeting objectives on time.[ CITATION Nat181 \l 2057 ]In the Johari Window is a psychological method that was designed by Joseph Luft and HarryIngham in 1955. This strategy is a manageable but knowledgeable tool for understandingand practice. This tool mostly concentrates on the soft skills, for example, interpersonaldevelopment, compassion, intergroup development, behaviour and co-operation.The Johari Window is a great approach to use because of its easy to understand and alsobecause it can be practised in different types of circumstances and environments.[ CITATIONSel13 \l 2057 ]The Johari window method of sending and allowing feedback is defined in this method. TheJohari Window is designed as a window with four windowpanes. Two of the windowpanes isabout what's known to you about yourself and the other two windowpanes are about thehidden to you but not to other people. The information would change from onewindowpane to the other this is because of shared trust which can be accomplished bysocialising.[ CITATION Hof13 \l 2057 ].One of the strengths that I got from the Johari Window test was being an organisedindividual this strength would help me in the recruitment industry because of there a lot ofthings that has to happen when recruiting some to a job, you will need to organiseinterviews, documents and training.Another theory that I have used is the Gallup strengths, for many years the Clifton strengthsassessment has been helping people exceed. For example, top business executives andmanagers to teachers, nurse and many more jobs, millions of people have benefited fromClifton strengths.[ CITATION Gal182 \l 2057 ].Individuals and businesses use Clifton Strengths to allow individual growth and increasebusiness results.
