When teams are build, it is general for individuals to take different roles
according to their ability, character and position. It is necessary for a manger
to assign roles of the team members according to their capability and ability.
For a successful team, it is mandatory to recognize the behavior of each and
every team member and make sure that roles are allocated according to them.
In context to Mansion Care Home houses, manager needs to give proper
roles to their employees according to their knowledge and position. A
manager needs to monitor that each role is being performed in efficient way
in order to achieve organization's goal (Griffiths and et. al., 2018). For being
a responsible team member, Mark need to understand his role properly as a
support worker and should improve his overall performance.
According to Belbin theory, it is necessary for team members to understand
their roles to develop their strengths and to work on their weaknesses to
contribute in a team. Manager of the Mansion care home houses also follows
Belbin model to create balanced team. There are nine different team roles
such as plant, resource investigator, coordinator, monitor evaluator,
specialists, shaper, implementer, completer finisher. These all roles are

Resource investigator: They are often extroverts and are good at
interacting with people both external and internal of an
organization. They are good at finding out opportunities and
creating contacts. It is effective when a business needs an idea and
to develop it. It brings resources and ideas back to the team.
Monitor evaluators: They are responsible for analyzing problems
that occur in a business and evaluate suggestions and ideas
regarding to it. They are majorly responsible for weighing up
advantages and disadvantages of options that are available. They
ensures that there is no occurrence of any mistake in a team.
Coordinators: They are good at dealing with a team by
coordinating team members to work towards a common goal. They
are good at performing better with colleagues of same designations
and provide assistance to team members to achieve goals and
objectives.
Team workers: They are the most eligible members of a team.
They are sociable, mild and concerned about others. They have a
capability or flexibility to adapt different situations and individual
team members.
Shapers: They are kind of motivate people in an organization with
active energy in order to shape an organization to achieve goals and
objectives. They develop good actions and work under pressure.
They are considering as an engine of the team or an ideal leader of
the project.
Implementers: They are very beneficial element in an organization
because of their capability of application. They have an
understanding and knowledge of what is right for the organization.
They play a major role in transforming ideas and plans into defined

3.2 Analyze team dynamics
A team is a group of two or more individuals working together to achieve
organizational goals. Team dynamics can be defining as ability to work in an
interdependent fashion where team members rely on each other to complete
their work and achieve goals of the team (Ayre, McChesney and Sterritt,
2016). It effects team performance due to different roles and behavior of
team members.
Therefore, to maintain a positive team dynamic in Mansion Care Home
houses manger need to build a team who work together to reach to certain
decisions and co-operate with each other. Manager of the organization
should motivate Marks to work with team and determine self-corrective
behaviour. Several strategies are made for improving team dynamics such as
to define roles and responsibilities of each team member so that they have a
clear vision regarding their work. Open communication plays a major role in
developing good team dynamics. Manager needs to monitor that all team
members are communicating properly including all forms of communication
such as meetings, emails, document sharing etc. Team members should have
proper knowledge of their goals and it should be clear in their mind. Manger
should motivate and encourage team as a whole and individual team member
also. There should be a reward and accountability system for team and its
members (Small, Shacklock and Marchant, 2018). Team members should
behave properly and address their problems quickly to the higher authorities
and speak out for them.
3.3 Suggest alternative ways to complete tasks and achieve team goals
In order to achieve goals and completing tasks, an organization must
include alternative ways also which can be easily followed by their team
members. Hence, setting goals are important for each and every
organization because it gives direction for growth and development of
organization. In order to achieve goals in an alternative manner, members
of Mansion Care Home houses should work willingly and should analyze
their self-performance. Respective organization should set a limitation of
goals and objective in order to get the best outcomes. Manager of the team
should motivate them constantly and should avoid work pressure.
Rather than analyzing productivity and performance of organizational team
members at the end of the month, it would be better that manager should
identify overall performance at short intervals and convey all the
adjustments which are need to be implement. Manger should boost team
members by giving appraisals according to their performance and not on
yearly basis.
Mansion Care Home houses should involve alternatives to tackle with
sudden risks and errors. They should build a team of experts and specialists
so that they will work according to specific problems and take actions
instantly (Pereira, Villas-Boas and Rebelo, 2019). Creating a healthy
environment will also lead to growth and development of respective
organization and help employees to work effectively and efficiently.
