EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATION PRODUCTIVITY1AbstractThe proposal has shed light on the less employee engagement in public sector organization inQatar. For this obvious reason, organization productivity is hampered in the public sector inQatar. There is an inter-relation between these two variables and engagement of employees isimportant for the development of production. The problem lies in public sector is theproductiveness of this sector and stagnant situation of this, where employees are lazy andunproductive as well. In this paper, the research objectives are highlighting the link betweenthese variables and present some scope to reach the result through secondary research method.Positivism philosophy, descriptive design, and deductive approach are used in this researchprocess and literature review from different scholar also highlights the same situation in Qatar. Insuch situation, theories like expectancy theory, two-factor theory and McGregor X and Y theoryare important and all these states the interrelation between these variables in the research. Infindings, all the steps are taken by the government has been discussed and the entire findings arebased on the thematic analysis and through the analysis possible recommendation can bedawned. Transactional leadership and effective use of communication are the significant changespublic sector can implement in their workplace and that will motivate young people to join thesector and improve the productivity in this sector and provide some executive boost in Qatar.

The scope of the study analysesperformance enhancement in public sector and employees’ engagement is needed for that reason.The proposal also suggests intrinsic and extrinsic factors are liable for employee’ motivation andthat assure employees’ retention as well as the development of business in the public sector inQatar (Moussa 2013). Through the scope of productiveness, the sector will improve in amotivated way and a good relationship with age and salary or employee is going to be sustainedin this segment.1.3 Objective of the StudyTo identify the employee engagement factors in public sector industry in Qatar.To point out the possible chances to enhance the organizational productivity in Qatar.To connect the inter-relation between employee engagement and organizationalproductivity and make an impact on both the attribution to sustain a good market positionof the company.
