Employee engagement it is defined as the property of relationship between the employees and
organisation.an employee is said to be engaged if he is is enthusiastic and motivated for
working in the company. It is also important for the company to maintain interest and
reputation of the the the organisation by providing good benefits and incentives to employees.
Also, employee engagement is defined as the emotional commitment which staff or employee
is having for the company. It is is analyse that it there is requirement for the engaged
employees for meeting the goals and objectives in specified time frame. An engaged employee
has to take care of performance and work done by the company. It is very important to to make
the employees engaged and involved within the company. An engaged employee has to take

care of performance and work of the organisation. It is important to make the employees feel
efforts and do proper working within the organisation for maintaining the satisfaction among
the company. There are different ways by which companies are involved within doing the the
organisation work properly. If an employee is committed, he will put his efforts for
accomplishing the organisational goals effectively. It is also seen that they are able to establish
responsibility for managing the roles and responsibilities effectively. There is need of having
good managers for recognising the names and demands of employee engagement.company

effectively.

and they must be happy so that it is easy to lead a successful and thriving business. Also, there

Section Five: Research approach and methodology
Research methodology - Research methodology is defined as the way which is used
bythe management of company in order to analyse the need of employee engagement
within the hotel. It is very important for the management to analyse the research
methodology before starting the achievement of goals and objectives. The concept of
research onion was given by Saunders. According to him, there are various levels of
research onion used while conducting research for knowing the need of employee
engagement.
Research philosophy – it is known as custom or belief used by the investigator for
managing the value of employee engagement within the hotel. There are different
research philosophy used for managing the data in effective manner. The data related to
employee engagement it and its importance within company is analysed by using
interpretivism approach. According to this approach, there is need of intervention and
interpretation of the real facts regarding employee engagement.
Deductive approach - this is a social theory which states that it is essential to find out
what are the different ways used by the management for determining value of employee
engagement by developing a hypothesis. It is concluded that deductive approach is
developed for managing link between different elements. The main benefit for deductive

Inductive approach - this is defined as the way used by the researcher for collecting

analysing the need of this within the companies.
